Spiaggia privata, vasca idromassaggio, vista su Mount Baker e Griffin Bay, dall'altra parte della strada rispetto a Golf e Tennis, e persino una boa di ormeggio!

Prima che l'isola di San Juan venisse scoperta come meta di viaggio, Friday Harbor era un gruppo di case modeste in alcune strade centrali. Quando la zona commerciale iniziò ad espandersi, due case storiche furono trasferite a sud della città su questo bellissimo tratto di lungomare di Griffin Bay. Creativamente collegate da un nuovo spazio vitale centrale, queste strutture storiche ora formano le ali opposte di una deliziosa residenza isolana.

La proprietà si trova dietro un'entrata controllata, quindi è estremamente privata, tuttavia il golf club e campi da tennis (aperti al pubblico e si possono usare le nostre racchette) si trovano dall'altra parte della strada, e le comodità della città distano solo 3 miglia.

Il paesaggio che circonda la casa è semplicemente stupendo, offre 8 ettari di giardino soleggiato, radure erbose con un badminton e un set da croquet che puoi usare, stagni da esplorare e una vasca idromassaggio sotto un cielo stellato.

Poi c'è la spiaggia! Basta passeggiare lungo il sentiero sulla battigia per trovare la tua piccola e riparata baia di ghiaia, completa di tronchi di legno. pozze di marea, e una vista inaspettata di Mount Baker. È qui che probabilmente trascorrerai molte ore in contemplazione tranquilla e godendoti dei picnic. Questo bellissimo lungomare è anche un ottimo punto di partenza per il kayak e c'è persino una boa
per il tuo uso Con un lancio in barca a poche miglia di distanza, è facile portare la barca o noleggiarne una dalla città per esplorarla o fissarla.

Coloro che cercano di rivivere estati di infanzia spensierate ameranno questa casa vacanza. Le sezioni più vecchie della residenza creano una sensazione di ricordo. Un'ala si snoda attraverso un piccolo ufficio in una camera da letto matrimoniale con un letto king size, bagno privato e grande cabina armadio. Sopra l'ufficio è un soppalco semi-aperto con due letti singoli dove bambini e ragazzi possono rannicchiarsi. NOTA CI SONO BASSI SOFFITTI E SCALE E SCORREVOLI NON CONFORMI IN QUESTA ZONA.

La cucina con angolo colazione, salotto, 1/2 bagno e lavanderia sono al livello principale della seconda ala. Al piano superiore sono due camere da letto supplementari, una con un letto matrimoniale più futon, e la seconda con un letto matrimoniale e un letto singolo. Un secondo bagno con vasca / doccia è anche al piano superiore.
Le due ali più vecchie sono separate dalla sala da pranzo vivente e formale.

Le finestre sull'acqua offrono incredibili viste sulla baia, sulle isole, sulle splendide albe e sul Monte Baker. Lo stretching su tutta la parte anteriore e laterale della casa è un invitante ponte che contiene mobili da salotto e da pranzo e un barbecue a propano.

La casa è confortevole, attraente e senza pretese. L'atmosfera è un piccolo passo indietro nel tempo, un posto che i bambini di tutte le età apprezzeranno mentre corrono a piedi nudi nel cortile, guadano sulla riva, giocano e ridono.

Questa è veramente una delle migliori proprietà sull'isola di San Juan. Vieni a fare i ricordi della tua isola a Griffin Bay Beach: ci aspettiamo che ti unirai ai tanti che ritornano ogni anno.

Beautiful waterside property! Perfect for a family gathering, well appointed and very clean. Close to town, golf and tennis.The bedroom layout is best for 6 adults with an additional loft space for children, although there are no railings.Highly recommend this home.

Amazing family weekend getaway

Out family came to the island for the weekend and this property was perfect. There was enough space for everyone and non stop fun on site. Everyone from 2 years old - 43 years old had a blast. Can’t wait to come back and stay a couple days longer.

Amazing spot in the San Juan’s!

We love this property. The owners greeted us with a welcome basket and fresh flowers from the property. We’ve stayed here for 3 summers with a party of 8 - 4 adults and 4 kids - and it works perfectly. The private beach has kayaks and things to help with crabbing. There’s a sport area where the kids play and run around. The view is spectacular. The kitchen is better stocked than my own. The house has games and other fun things. We love our stay here.

Adorable Home

Location was great. Quick drive to Friday Harbor. Beach access was easy. Home was great for our party of 3 female friends looking for individual rooms and more than 1 bathroom. All the essentials, including coffee. ;)

Best Sunrise View!!!

First of all the owner shared key information at the right times and made sure that everything worked on the first day. Really appreciate him for that. The property layout is private with plenty of parking space with a huge deck space and outside eating area. The inside has a marine vibe. Lots of kitchen supplies. 2 bedrooms on one end of the house and 2 bedrooms on the other end of the house. Comfy living room with a perfect view of the sunrise with a view the mountains. Good value for the price

Amazing pad

A weekend was Too short a stay at this amazing place on San Juan island. Peaceful, quiet, spectacular views of the water( with access to private beach and kayaks ) and Mt Baker. Super well stocked kitchen and bathrooms and laundry and and and Didnt quite have enough time to enjoy the place but will definitely consider a longer stay here.

Absolutely Gorgeous Seaside Cottage (Be aware of the wasps though!)

The perfect place for my family and I to celebrate my 30th birthday. Peaceful, magical property. We loved the lawn and played so many games outside -- we didn't want to go into town because staying in the home was just so incredible! Plenty of room for everyone. Loved the story of the place, the communication with the host was super easy and check-in and check-out were great. Having the private beach and access to kayaks was incredible, we loved exploring the area by water. Stunning views of Mt Baker from the home and the hot tub was lovely as well. Can't say enough good things! We will be back! *One important note: There is a major wasp infestation on the property -- we found nests near the hot tub, on the roof of the house, and under the patio. They are flying around a lot and often get in the house (we caught and released about a dozen in our 3 nights there). This definitely detracted from our stay! So please be aware, especially if you're allergic.

Great Quiet Place with Waterfront View

We truly enjoyed our stay at this location. The house had pretty much everything we needed and the quiet place on the water was a nice sight to wake up to each morning. The only thing to note is that it seems the island doesn't have the best internet service options and the house was out of cell range for most of our group. We made do with the internet service provided as it wasn't critical for us, so the connection hiccups didn't impact how much fun we had here.

Charming

The online photos do not do this place justice. I thought the photos where beautiful but it's even more charming in person! Also the kitchen has been updated and is lovely. We had a wonderful time, highly recommend.

Wonderful Experience

Spacious house on a very large property with "beach" access. The beach is small with lots of large driftwood. When not exploring the island, we spent most of our time on the large deck or in the hot tub. The unit is well stocked with amenities including a Keurig coffee maker and associated cups and most anything else you might need or want. Owner was very responsive and helpful and lives in a separate house on the property. Master suite with king size bed and large double sink bathroom. There are two upstairs bedrooms that share a small bathroom. The upstairs loft has two beds. There is a toilet in the laundry room adjacent to the kitchen. The dining room can seat 12. The living room has a leather loveseat, leather couch and two rocking chairs. Very comfortable. Appliances are newish plus a nice barbeque and a large crab boiling pot on the spacious deck. There are large lawns that I would not want to mow and the property is surrounded by large trees with very happy birds. The kitchen, living room, bedroom and a deck have views of the bay and Mt. Baker (on a clear day). You can see the Milky Way on a clear night. Its about a 6-8 minute drive to Friday Harbor and also very close to American Camp. Highly recommended.

Lovely place, amazing views. It was great that you could close off one end of the house for early to bed people. Comfortable, lots of space, and a well equipped kitchen. We had a great time!

One in a million

Wow. We were overwhelmed by the generosity of these hosts: Everything supplied in plenty, with extras (like 8 acres of beautiful grounds to ourselves! kayaks! crab cooker!) that we never expect to find again at other places. We're spoiled now. The owners' loving personal touches were evident throughout. The view is unparalleled: We had three golden dawns just like the photo. One tip: The hosts (understandably) request shoes off in the house. Elders, especially, will appreciate bringing along some clean "inside" slippers if they are no longer comfortable with bare feet. The Washington State ferries were a challenge for us, but Don gave us some tips that helped us. In short, a perfect place for our grown family.
