    Questa casa per le vacanze sull'isola di San Juan si trova proprio sul mare. Splendide viste sull'acqua preparano il terreno per una classica vacanza sull'isola - in effetti c'è così tanta acqua blu proprio davanti alle finestre che a volte ti senti come se fossi su una barca! Per migliorare quella sensazione, l'arredamento ha un tema nautico distintivo!

    Immagina solo la serenità di sederti sull'ampio ponte guardando le acque blu profonde, ammirando le ampie vedute delle isole vicine e passando le barche. La stessa vista elementale è anche inquadrata nelle finestre a volta del soggiorno quando vieni in casa.

    Lo stile è informale, riscaldato da colori intensi in ogni stanza, una miscela di chalet europeo e cabina nord-occidentale che creano un ambiente molto accogliente. Lo chalet ha una pianta a tre livelli. Dal livello del parcheggio, scendi due rampe di scale per entrare nella casa a metà livello. Le aree soggiorno / pranzo si affacciano sull'acqua. Il soggiorno ha una nuova TV e una stufa a pellet per un maggiore calore. La cucina è molto ben fornita e i cuochi ospiti apprezzeranno la gamma di propano in stile commerciale. C'è anche un tavolino da bistrot a un'estremità della cucina che è un posto meraviglioso per un caffè mattutino o un bicchiere di vino prima di cena. Su questo livello principale si trovano anche due camere da letto e un bagno completo.

    Il loft superiore funge da camera da letto principale perché ha una zona salotto, una scrivania e un bagno privato. È aperto sul soggiorno in modo da poter godere della vista dell'acqua attraverso le finestre che si estendono su due piani nel soggiorno. Il livello inferiore è stato recentemente aggiornato con nuova vernice e una seconda TV e un divano più grandi in quest'area. Inoltre, questo livello della casa offre un terzo bagno con doccia, lavanderia e un'entrata su un ponte inferiore.

    Il Washington Way Chalet dista solo cinque minuti in auto dal porto di Friday e dall'atterraggio dei traghetti, dove troverete teatri della comunità, gallerie d'arte, molti ristoranti, negozi di alimentari e shopping divertente!

The pictures do not do the view justice. You could sit on the patio and watch the horizon all day in wonder. The sailboats, birds, currents and occasional sea life are amazing to watch slowly drift across the view. Sunset is worth being home for! The house itself is charming and had everything you need for a stay on the island. Highly recommended. One caution: The driveway is a bit steep so may not be for drivers without confidence.

This home and property were beautiful, and exactly what we were looking for. The pictures and the description of the property were what we expected. The wildlife, living arrangements, and views of the water from all 3 levels were breath taking. The 48-mile loop around the entire island was easily mapped, and at this home you are about 8 minutes into town at Friday Harbor. We would definitely stay here again if we came to Friday Harbor.

Stunning home, amazing views. Driveway is a little tricky with an extra large suv. House was sparkling clean with all the bells and whistles you could imagine. The deck is right on the water with views of whales, eagles, otters….beautiful sailboats. We highly recommend this property.

The house is dated but view makes up for all.Very well supplied. Comfortable bed rooms.you do require a car to get around and it is worth getting around island.

Beautiful property, clean spacious rooms. comfortable furniture and beds, well stocked kitchen, gorgeous views from both decks, the property felt very private and safe, witnessed tons of wildlife; Deer, harbor seal, Orcas, Eagles all from the deck, Close proximity to Friday Harbor just a short drive. We had an amazing time and would recommend this home 100%. We hope to stay again in the future.

View says it all!

The waterfront views are breathtaking! Close to Friday Harbor, San Juan Island has great amenities. Watch your step on stairs leading to house, can be slippery at night & early morning. House has everything you need to make your stay comfortable. Make ferry reservations as soon as possible.

The house has a beautiful view & is in a good location. It also has a fun nautical flair. The house had no kleenex, one roll of paper towels, and very few kitchen towels. There was only one kitchen sponge which was used and not clean. The oil and spices were outdated, and I threw the oil out as it was dated 2024, and just bought our own. The downstairs bedroom with two twin beds had no blankets. The living room television outlet did not work, and we checked and saw it was not a flipped fuse. We were able to plug the television into the neighboring outlet, and got it working. We tried to get the downstairs television working, but could not. We did not try the TV in the loft. There are steep stairs to go up and down with your suitcases, down to the house, and up to the loft. The stairs do need new reinforcement as does the deck rail. The directions for throwing the trash out were incorrect, as it is stored in the garage with a garage opener. We had a great time on San Juan Island, but the house had a few needs.

Nice location, comfortable place, good view. There were two issues that were a little annoying; you couldn't eat on the deck or even sit outside without wasps flying around you. But I heard it is a problem everywhere on the island, so I don't think the owners can do anything about that. The other thing was the heater. When it comes on, it is very loud and occasionally woke us up. But otherwise, the house is well equipped and comfortable.

Stunning view with great amenities

The view is absolutely stunning, whether you are cooped up indoors or outside on the deck. There are 2 levels of deck, lower is covered and upside has a heat lamp. The property inside is well stocked and kitchen is very well equipped. We had no problems cooking simple meals. Pellet stove, bluetooth enabled sound system and comfy couches made the evening all the more enjoyable. Lowest floor common area is great for our toddler as it is mostly child safe. Location wise it is only 8min drive to Friday harbor and at most 20min drive to most scenic point like Lime Kiln lighthouse, Roche harbor etc... The only downside is the central heating unit is very loud when it turns on, so if you are a light sleeper you may find it not so pleasent. The 2 rooms can be very warm and you can only open or shut the vents (no in between). One last nit picky complaint is one of the two twin bed is very squeaky. Overall very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Would love to come back again.

Roomy enough for 5, but not overly large with a great view of the ocean and sunset.

Very nice accomodations...3 bathrooms and laundry was a plus. It could use a kettle to boil water for coffee and tea.

Wonderful treasure! We loved it! Spectacular views of the water and other Islands.

A tri-level cottage best designed for Mom, Dad and up to 4 kids, or 2 couples. Lots of stairs to all the levels. A bathroom on each floor (3), but the lowest level does not have a bed. We contacted the property management company and they provided us with an air mattress for the lowest level. The second level has 2 bedrooms and a small bathroom off the kitchen. Not so much privacy. The upper level is a private loft, over looking the the living area below and spectacular picture window of the Sound. The kitchen was very well stocked for cooking (not food), but pans, dishes, food processor, blender, etc. FYI our toaster went out and was replaced the same day by the property management company. Driveway may be difficult as it is steep and narrow. No easy access to the water, but 2 decks (middle level and lower level) with SPECTACULAR views. Around 2.5 miles from Friday Harbor. YES, I would go there again.

Spring Break

The house and location was great!! We had 4 adults and two teenage boys and the place was perfect! The teens played video games, watched TV, and had their own deck with great views in the bonus room downstairs. And the adults had a sweeping views with comfortable patio furniture and one propane heater for use on the main floor. We saw lots of marine life and eagles daily, cooked our own meals, and took daily excursions exploring the island. The house served the 6 of us perfectly!

Great Girlfriend Getaway

Just the right amount of room/space for us three girlfriends. We absolutely LOVED the view and the quiet. It was so easy to get everywhere on the island, and we enjoyed several restaurants in Friday Harbor. We loved all having our own bathrooms, even though we never could get the shower to work in the main floor bathroom. Kitchen was well equipped, though a bit disorganized. But overall, we would most certainly consider reserving this property for another girlfriend getaway!

Fantastic view!

This property has a beautiful view north to Orcas and Shaw islands, and it was very close to Friday Harbor and the ferries. We hope to stay here again!

Great stay at a great location near Friday Harbor

The house was in great condition. Beds are comfortable and bathrooms are very clean. The water pressure is a little low as others have mentioned, but it's not a problem as long as you don't have two people shower at the same time. We saw harbor seals and orcas from the deck of the house. Amazing! We will definitely stay here again if we return to San Juan Island.

Disappointed ☹️

Kitchen appliances (dishwasher was broken, stove was very worn), tablewear was dated and a number of pieces were either broken or close to it. Outdoor furnishings were dated, dirty and very uncomfortable. Linens were clean, pillows were pancakes. Views from property were great, however, overall we were disappointed with this property. Not at all worth the cost per night.

Great property with amazing views just wrong time of year

We planned a week away over a month in advance, rained everyday which stifled our plans, however the property was nice and was as listed. Definitely would go back earlier in year and after Covid. Did not have contact with property manager, no needs.

Relaxing spot with wonderful views. We had a lovely getaway. G2 enjoyed having a floor to themselves to hang out on away from the rest of us.
