Waterviews di Puget Sound e le montagne olimpiche con Expansive Gardens

Il cottage è in un ambiente molto tranquillo; puoi sentire il suono degli uccelli ronzanti e delle balene (se arrivano che è raro ora) e camminare fino al bordo del pascolo dal cottage Le notti sono molto buie e tranquille. Situato in una cornice pastorale in un ranch di sei acri, c'è un delizioso giardino perenne fuori dalla porta con un orto (in stagione).

Siamo a pochi passi dalla appartata Eagle Cove con una spiaggia sabbiosa ideale per prendere il sole e guadare. Cammina fino all'American Camp National Park per opportunità di escursioni e informazioni sulla storia dell'isola. Siamo a soli 12 minuti di auto dal Friday Harbor.

Il design degli interni è un mix di motivi mondiali acquisiti durante i nostri viaggi con tappeti orientali e accessori europei e ha un'influenza provenzale francese. C'è anche un delizioso camino a gas per serate romantiche.

Svegliati con la vista di un giardino naturale dalla tua camera da letto con un comodo letto matrimoniale. L'elegante bagno deluxe ha una vasca con piedini ad artiglio e toilette e toeletta, piastrelle italiane e marmo, pavimenti riscaldati e portasciugamani riscaldato. Mary and Fred’s guest cottage was an absolute dream. The views are exceptional! We loved the location being so conveniently close to Friday Harbor and Cattle Point, as we spent lots of time out there. The Guest Cottage was absolutely beautiful and had anything you needed. We cannot recommend this place more! We will certainly be back!

Enjoyed the country setting with a view of the ocean along with the flowers.The cottage was very clean and had everything you needed. Be sure to check out the bakery by the airport in Friday Harbor along with a whale watching trip.

We had an amazing stay with Jeff and Mary for our honeymoon on San Juan Island, the cottage was beautiful and it seemed like every convenience and detail had been taken care of. We loved the sunset views and visits from the dogs and cats on the farm. We still got to enjoy our privacy and plenty of hot tub time, we highly recommend a stay here!

We had a wonderful five-night stay at Fred and Mary’s charming garden cottage. The house was absolutely perfect—cozy, artistic, and full of character. Staying in Friday Harbor was a dream in itself, and this cottage truly made the experience even more special.The surrounding landscape was beautiful and peaceful, and the presence of animals around the property added a delightful touch that made our stay even more joyful.Fred and Mary were thoughtful hosts, and we felt warmly welcomed throughout our stay. Lovely Cottage

Excellent property

Very short drive into Friday Harbor. Beautiful view of the sound. Clean nice property. The only negative was spotty WiFi. Could be because of their location. Short drive to cattle point and American camp national park. Very enjoyable!!

A wonderful home to relax in, with the description and pictures matching what we experienced. The owners were helpful, yet also let us be. Close to Friday Harbor and the American Side of the National Historic Site. Easy access to the rest of the island. Perfect!

Wonderful country escape with great view and hosts

The cottage was the perfect place for a wonderful get away on San Juan Island. Mary is a very creative artist and has decorated the cottage beautifully and provided absolutely everything we needed for our stay. The gardens are filled with fantastic flowers and the patio and view are a great place to enjoy meals. We hope to return soon!

AMAZING STAY WITH MARY AND FRED-THANKS

Our stay was OUTSTANDING-read no more and book the cottage with Mary if its available! We stayed for 3 nights celebrating our 35th wedding anniversary! The location is perfect-just a quick 15 minute or less drive from the Ferry & Friday Harbor or a 25 minute bike ride for riders. Mary greeted us along with a beautiful flower bouquet from her amazing garden & art work in the house!! The cottage & description is even better when you arrive! A wagon to help transport your items to the cottage. A beautiful view & sunsets every night of the Strait of Juan de Fuca & Victoria. The cottage is beautiful, colorful & very comfortable & has a BBQ if you wish. Has a gas fireplace & hot tub access. Mary has a notebook with suggested restaurants, locations to visit and things to do with great maps. Cell coverage on the island is spotty so take the maps. We rode our E-bikes to Friday Harbor & explored the town & enjoyed lunch. Explored San Juan Island National Park-great hike & exploration to Grandma's Beach-saw 10 sea otters & lots of rabbits, & Roche Harbor. Had a fabulous meal at Oyster Tale in Friday Harbor, another great meal in Roche Harbor at McMillin's Dining room-make reservations & another good meal with great service at Downriggers. Spring Street Deli makes amazing sandwiches-close to a great book store. Thanks to Mary and Fred for opening their wonderful, beautiful, peaceful and relaxing property!

Charming, peaceful, well decorated

Loved this place and the style with which it was done. Very comfortable. We liked being away from town yet only 10 minutes. Perfect for a cup of coffee or a glass of wine with views of the water. I needed strong WiFi to work and that was problematic. The owners were very responsive to this problem. If u depend on WiFi for work u may need to check if that has been taken care of. I drove into town and used the public library’s wifi. I’d still stay here again.

Garden Cottage Stay was Amazing

Our seven day stay at Mary and Fred’s garden cottage was amazing and so were our hosts.The house was perfect and had all we needed. I cooked every day and it was so wonderful to have everything in a kitchen I needed to prepare our meals. The bed, pillows, and sheets were the best which made a for wonderful nights sleep!

Blissful weekend stay

We had a wonderful experience staying here! The property was stunningly beautiful and immaculately kept, with a beautiful view of the water. Everything was clean, comfy, and relaxing. Fred and Mary went out of their way to provide plenty of information about activities, restaurants, places to go/directions. There were a couple of hiccups with communication after we got there, but otherwise it was a lovely stay. Can't recommend enough (especially the hot tub).

Excellent Stay

Mary and Fred were wonderful hosts! Had a chance to spend time with them. Delightful people! Generous and unobtrusive! The cottage is very nice and the pictures are very true to how it looks live. Comfortable and well appointed! Nice views of Haro Strait and Vancouver Island. Easy 10 minute drive from Friday Harbor!
