“We loved the features throughout the building. The beams, low ceilings, uneven floors...really kept the character of the building. Rooms were nice albeit a bit strange having the shower in the room and not in the ensuite but good use if available space given grade 2 listed building regulations.”

Big room and good bathroom, both very clean, and fantastic pub for the dinner. The staff also was very nice. The area is very peaceful but just few miles from the cuty. Absolutely recommended.”

“This is a very unique quaint Hotel. Rooms are comfortable and modern in an old style original hotel. Food in restaurant fantastic. Walks are good from the Hotel to the river Thames and around town to the Abbey. Loved our stay here.”
