“The hotel is an older hotel which was perfect however it was my own fault for booking a plain room; no antique curtains or older beds. It was a very very boring room. Hotel was walking distance to Japantown but that’s all. It’s either bus or uber to all locations. The breakfast was very nice. The coffee in the lobby and cookies are a nice touch! When you first walk into the hotel you get a very bad smell but you get used to it. The rest of the hotel does not smell that way. The bartender is...

“Maybe the bed. We were a family of three of us. We choose a room with two queen bed and definitely we had some problems to sleep. A queen bed for me and my husband was too little and a queen bed for my son was too big!”

“Nice motel style structure, heated pool and clean rooms. Had a nice style to the property. Breakfast available in the foyer. Parking right outside the front door (big plus in SF). On the downside the hotel had lots of people hanging around outside the property all day and we sadly didn't feel that safe to walk around with our two teenagers.”

“ Ho passato cinque notti a Casa Loma Hotel a inizio maggio. L’edificio ha un suo fascino ed è ben inserito nel contesto incantevole del quartiere. Purtroppo però la struttura è in condizioni pessime e necessita di una ristrutturazione (in particolare la moquette è da sostituire e le pareti da ridipingere). “I have stayed here for 20 years, it was The Opal and it has been gorgeously remodeled but has all the things I love before. In and out enclosed parking, Mel’s Diner attached so food mostly anytime, comfortable beds👍, conveniently located at Van Ness and Geary Street so Ubers and cabs etc are easy. Tommy’s Joint an SF favorite for great food, beer and cocktails across the street. And a big movie theater practically next door. Very reasonable price for how nice it is now.”

“L’hotel molto bello, peccato la zona (circondato da homeless, spacciatori, drogati...) ma comunque comodo con i mezzi. Due osservazioni: camere non sufficientemente insonorizzate con il corridoio, e soprattutto al 7’ piano c’è un via vai di persone e giovani che vanno al locale sul rooftoop all’8 piano tramite la scala (e gridano e ridono nel cuore della notte); la stanza é spaziosa ma con un minuscolo armadio e senza spazi per appoggiare le valige, inoltre la doccia è buia.”
