“This is a lovely, authentic and peaceful hotel set in rural countryside. It has a beautifully decorated lounge with lots of wood panelling and leather sofas. The staff are friendly and the restaurant good.”

“The staff as usual were brilliant, the room was very clean and breakfast is very good. There are only 2 things I would change and it's only my own personal opinion, the water pressure in the shower could be stronger for my liking. Also personally I would prefer Lincolnshire sausages at breakfast not Cumberland sausages, but that's just my personal preference.”

“Hotel standard della catena. Anche se il prezzo proposto da Hotels era vantaggioso, ogni extra si paga salato (una tazza di espresso al breakfast invece del caffè "normale" 2.45£ in più ....) Per il resto tutto ok, camera grande e pulita, mobile disposti in maniera poco razionale (ho dovuto spostare la TV per poterla vedere dal letto.”

“Excellent good vulue for money A policy should be inforced for inconsiderate guests staying at the hotel who choose to smoke. This is not just inconsiderare for other guests who inhale unwanted 2 x smoke. But for the poor cleaning staff who are exposed to this irritant”

“We stayed in the family room.The mattress on the bunkbeds were a little uncomfortable, but the room was lovely. Very clean and bright, and we were supplied with fresh towels, bottles of water, biscuits and tea, coffee and hot chocolate everyay. There is a good selection of food served and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The surrounding area is beautiful with lots of things to do close by. I would recommended The Shakespear Inn.”
