A cozy and inviting two-level getaway tucked in the rolling hills of The Galena Territory. We now offer 12pm check in and check out! This 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom retreat offers warm character and modern comfort — perfect for families, couples, or small groups looking to relax, recharge, or explore Galena’s charm (less than 15 minutes away!).

Unwind by the wood-burning fireplace, stream your favorite shows, or enjoy a morning coffee on the private deck surrounded by peaceful woods. Whether you’re here for a quiet escape or an adventure-filled weekend, Walnut Hill Retreat is the perfect home base.

• Upstairs Bedroom: King bed with ensuite bathroom, smart TV, and a loft-style workspace — perfect for remote work or journaling with a view.
• Downstairs Bedroom: Queen with Twin XL trundle bed (sleeps 2–3), adjacent to a full bathroom, with a smart TV for cozy movie nights.
• Living Room - Sofa bed is best suited for one guest and has a maximum weight limit of 200 pounds to ensure safe and comfortable use.

🍽️ KITCHEN & DINING

The fully stocked kitchen features everything you need for your stay, including:
• A coffee bar with both Keurig and drip coffee makers (plus all the fixings ☕)
• Modern appliances and cookware for home-style meals
• A dining table for 4 plus 2 counter stools for extra seating

🔥 FIREPLACE

Enjoy the authentic charm of a wood-burning fireplace in the great room — perfect for cozy evenings after exploring downtown Galena. (Guests provide their own firewood.)

OUTDOOR GRILL:
A propane grill is available on the private deck with a patio table for outdoor dining. Propane is provided, and guests are kindly asked to clean the grill after use.

We’ve streamlined check-in and check-out for flexibility! Our professional cleaning team ensures every stay starts fresh and comfortable. If you`d like a little extra time to ease in or out, we recommend booking the night before or after.

🔥GRILLS & LP TANKS:
Our owners generously provide grills at no cost. However, full LP tanks aren’t guaranteed. We do our best to make sure there’s at least 1/3 of a tank ready for you. If you need more, refills or exchanges are up to you.

✨ STARTER KIT:
To help you settle in, we provide:
• 🧻 One roll of toilet paper per bathroom
• 🧼 One roll of paper towels
(If you’re staying longer or with a group, you might want to bring along a few extras just in case!)
