“After arriving back home, my granddaughter realized that she had lost an earring during our stay. I called to see if maybe it had been found, and the staff went up and looked for it. How sweet! We had the pool to ourselves for about an hour- which was super nice! Very clean!”

“We always enjoy our time at this relaxing hotel in Galena. It has rooms to play cards, read or just relax and the deck is great to enjoy the nature in back of the hotel. Add to that a walking path behind the hotel and you have a great setting for a getaway.”

The furniture in our room was very old and worn, needs to be replaced. The windows don’t look like they’ve been cleaned for years. The furniture in the common areas looks great. Their website touts “elegant accommodations” well, maybe elegant at one time. ”
