“We had 6 nights and thoroughly enjoyed the stay, it is a quirky cottage in the country but close to several towns, hosts were excellent and cottage very well thought out”

“Nice 300 year old cottage in the countryside. Modern kitchen and extension also nice. Small garden suitable for a dog. Owners were responsive to questions.”

“Really quaint old inn with lots of exposed stone walls & beams. Staff were super friendly & helpful - really warm welcome & nothing was too much trouble. Bed very comfortable & the small double room I had was perfect just for me. Food in the restaurant was delicious & there was a good choice. Breakfast plentiful, well presented & hearty. Will be staying there again on my way to Devon”

“The breakfast was, I’d say, better than in a Hotel Ibis. The food was, definitely, locally sourced. We reached Bruton and the Hauser & Wirth arts complex easily from this hotel. We also visited the Jurassic Coast, but that took us a whole day, and we returned by 10pm.”

“Veramente caratteristico. Ben tenuto. Antica locanda in legno e pietra, i pavimenti sono storti, le travi a vista, bellissimo! Rimesso a nuovo, molto accogliente e confortevole. Ha il parcheggio. Siete in un tranquillo paese di campagna, ovviamente con la sua piccola cattedrale! Camere al primo piano (sono 8 in tutto), sotto pub. Colazione abbondante e tipica, molto buona. Ottimo livello di pulizia e gestori veramente gentili! Consigliatissimo”

“Small booking hiccup but very professionally dealt with. Great customer service. I loved the pods, good space, all of the features you will need for a comfortable stay. Hot showers, good tea / coffee and breakfast facilities. Very clean. Compliments to the owners. Highly recommend and will be back. ”

“The property was ideally situated for the local shops. Everything we needed was contained within the property and we were extremely comfortable. The parking was a bit tricky but once used to it or was fine. There is scaffolding on the next door building which was the main cause. There was no Internet but I have my own provider so it didn't impact on me, however the pub has wifi next door and upstairs you can pick up the boots wifi!”
