“The room was fine, not exceptional, for me, as I was only staying for 6 nights. I hadn't booked breakfast as it was only offered on a Sunday, but there is a "Sandwich Stop" attached to the hotel in the car park. Parking was adequate, but trying to exit onto the busy main road was a nightmare, as the hedges were so overgrown and hadn't been trimmed, so it was impossible to see traffic approaching from both directions. “Albergo ad apparente gestione familiare, non appartenente a catene. Semplice ma funzionale, buona la colazione, con preparazioni cotte al momento su richiesta cliente. Posizione strategica ed ampio parcheggio. Gas station proprio di fronte all’albergo stesso. Buon Wi-Fi,”

“If you are visiting Sheffield you can’t go wrong with a stay at this hotel. So easy into sheffield( we were at the Arena) lovely and clean and new. Fab staff and service and food was great in restaurant.”

“The only issue we had was there was no one to check us in, The contact numbers we had no one answered. We actually felt like we were trespassing. After driving around for an hour someone finally returned our call & messages and arranged to meet us. We had almost given up & were going to go home. Having said that we ended up having a really enjoyable stay :)”

“Manager very attentive upgraded rooms because of an issue with air conditioning. Small fridge would have been a bonus but everything we needed in all our rooms, extra water and condiments in hallway. Fresh fruit was a nice touch. Restaurant was 10/10. The only disheartening incident was being refused Scottish bank notes, it is legal tender, definitely not the welcome we expected. Scotland is still part of the United Kingdom.”

“Lovely room, great staff, excellent food and a wonderful location - the views are stunning. This was our second visit, why wouldn’t you come back, it’s just great. Just wish we lived closer! We will be back next year for our third stay at the exceptional Peacock at Barlow”
