“Beautiful hotel. I paid extra for a deluxe double room, which was lovely overall. However, one downside—never mentioned during booking or at check-in—was that the room didn’t have an external window. Instead, it faced the bar area, so there was no natural light in the room.”

“Booked this hotel as the rest of our large group were staying at The Ivy Bush Hotel opposite, where they had been recommended. We were not disappointed, the hotel was beautifully decorated and everywhere spotlessly clean. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included and was scrummy. Our friends at The Ivy Bush were extremely disappointed with their accommodation and evening meal and next time will book the Spilman Hotel. Would definitely recommend 😊”

“We stayed for 1 night. Staff and hotel were excellent, the kids bed was a bit small and uncomfortable for a 10 year old but the overalll stay was great and food was lovely in the restaurant. We didn’t get to try breakfast unfortunately as we had to leave at 7.30am and breakfast didn’t start till 8am”
