The house itself is beautiful, close to the beach, styled nicely and has a great view. The cleanliness was terrible. Food crumbs all over the floors, hairs in the bed sheets, dirty towels hanging up, dirty bath mats, dirty dishes in the dishwasher and cabinets that left a smell, lights not working in the bathroom, and some furniture broken or different from pictures. Reached out to the manager about our main concerns and they did attempt to fix it so I appreciate that. We didn’t sleep just from the feelings of being unclean. Had to make several water trips because the fridge water spout was covered it mold. We had to go get our own paper plates, cups, silverware because we didn’t want to handwash someone else’s dirty dishes. Overall, the whole family just wished we could leave and get our money back and forget about the vacation all together. Very stressful for some of the adults. I spent the whole weekend cleaning up the place and wanted to leave it spotless for the next guests to have a good time. I do really appreciate the manager of the property though for trying what he could to fix the issues day of check in. Maybe just need to replace their cleaning crew! Beautiful property.
