Welcome to La Vida!

THE HOME
Make the most of your vacation by being right on the canal! Upon arriving you will immediately feel the island vibe. Whether you want to relax on the upper deck and watch the sunrise/sunset or fish and crabbing from the lower deck, you can do all it from here! Daytime or evenings head down to the lower deck to use the grill and enjoy plenty of space for family and friends to gather. This home has an open floor plan allowing you to easily share time with the members in your group. The kitchen is updated with beautiful granite counters and a spacious breakfast bar providing additional seating. The fun is all right here, in your canal oasis at La Vida!

BEDROOMS
At the end of the day unwind in one of the 2 cozy bedrooms. Bedroom #1 has a one queen bed and bedroom #2 has two double beds. Each bedroom has comfortable clean linens, as well as a smart tv with streaming options. The bedrooms share an adjoining full-size bathroom featuring a shower/tub combination.

BOAT SLIP
The boat slip at this home is not available for guest use and guests are not allowed to bring a boat to the home during their stay.

LOCATION
This beautiful canal house is nestled right in the Terramar community approximately 25 minutes from Galveston. This allows you to easily drive into town to access the restaurants and attractions Galveston offers while still enjoying the less crowded beaches this location is known for. The house is less than a mile from the beach which can be easily reached by car or by golf cart!

GUEST APP
Each guest receives access to our user-friendly guest app which is tailored to the specific details of this home. Our guest app will help you easily prepare for your trip and get the most out of your stay.

PETS
This is a pet-friendly property! We allow 1-2 dogs depending on size. 2 dogs are permitted if both dogs are under 20 lbs. No dogs over 40 lbs are permitted at the home. Cats or any other animals are not allowed. When completing your reservation, please be sure to check 'Pets' when selecting number of guests. There is a $100 non-refundable pet fee that will be applied to your reservation. Failure to notify us that you are bringing a pet may result in immediate expulsion from the property without refund or a $200 penalty fee in addition to the pet fee. Please see our house rules below for additional information or inquire with us directly.

*Guests are still expected to clean up after their pets. Please remove any pet waste from the yard or excessive pet hair in the home prior to departure. This is not included in the cleaning fee and may create additional fees if additional cleaning is required.

CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT
Checking in and out is a stress-free and seamless process! You will receive a home access code 24 hours prior to your arrival which will provide you direct access to the home.

You may check-in any time after 4PM on your arrival date. Please do not request an early check-in time as we are unable to provide early check-ins. If you arrive to the island prior to 4PM, please utilize our guest app to find one of the many restaurants or attractions Galveston has to offer. These locations can serve as an excellent meeting place for members in your group and a fun way to start your trip.

Check-out time is 11AM on your departure date. Please adhere to this departure time so that our staff has adequate time to prepare the home for the next guest. Late guest departure from the home may result in additional fees.

STOCKED ITEMS
This home is well stocked starting with a kitchen that has just about everything you need to prepare and enjoy meals. Just bring your favorite ingredients! All beds are made prior to your arrival with clean sheets. Freshly laundered hand towels, bath towels, and beach towels are provided. We also provide a starter kit of paper products and toiletries for your arrival. These items are intended to make your first day comfortable so you will need to plan on purchasing supplies on your way to the home or after your arrival.

HOUSE RULES
Early Check-ins: We are unable to accommodate early check-ins due to the complications this causes for our cleaning staff.

Age Requirements: All guests must be over the age of 25 unless accompanied by their parent or legal guardian throughout their entire stay.

Quiet hours: We ask that our guests please be respectful of neighbors by keeping noise to reasonable levels between the hours of 8pm to 8am.

The house was exactly as advertised. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The neighborhood was quiet. The house was perfect for a relaxing weekend getaway!
