In close proximity to the Moody Gardens, Schlitterbahn, and the beach, the Island Pride Escape is perfect for your island getaway. The three bedrooms include 1 king and 2 queen beds. This freshly updated home is perfect for your family vacation or an extended stay. You'll love the garage game room and backyard games provided. or just relax and grill out in the back yard patio. This house has everything you'll need for a fun and relaxing stay in Galveston!

BEDROOMS
Island Pride Escape generously offers 1 king bed and 2 queen beds. There are 3 bedrooms total, each with a bed of its own for your privacy. Nestle yourself into a spacious bed and drift off to a restorative night’s sleep! Each bedroom includes a closet and a dresser. The queen bedrooms include a Roku Smart TV. Strong WiFi is available throughout the house.

BATHROOM

There are 2 full bathrooms with a shower + tub combination, which is particularly convenient for families with small children. Enjoy steady hot water and great water pressure. Bath towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, and body lotion are provided.

KITCHEN

A sizable island + multiple counters make this kitchen the perfect space for groups that like to cook together. Fully equipped with glasses, mugs, plates, bowls & silverware for 8. Coffee/Tea Bar includes Keurig and electric kettle. Blender, toaster, crock pot, and microwave included. Gas stovetop range + oven. Pots/pans, baking sheet, oil, salt & pepper.

DINING AREA

The dining table with seating for 4 with 2 additional barstools on the island gives you eating space just off of the kitchen.

LIVING ROOM

Perfect for low-key nights in, our 50“ SmartTV will entertain your family as they relax and unwind on the couch and arm chair. Log in to your accounts to enjoy Netflix, HBO, Prime, Hulu, Disney+ and more. A selection of books and children's activities are provided. Pull up a yoga mat and get fit (Cardio or Strength) or relax (Meditation or Stretching) with the Peloton app.

GARAGE/GAMEROOM

Gather with family and friends to created lasting bonding and memories in the garage/gameroom where you'll find a ping pong table and ring/hook game as well as a 50in Roku Smart TV.

OUTSIDE

Fire up the barbeque on the charcoal grill in the fenced backyard while your dog enjoys the grass! We also include backyard games - cornhole and horseshoes.

Space for 1 car to use garage for parking if desired as well as 1 additional parking spot on the street right in front of the house.

Great stay! The place was very clean, comfortable, and in a perfect location just steps from the beach. Check-in was smooth, the host was responsive, and everything was exactly as described. Would definitely stay here again.

Family time, dogs included!

The Island Pride escape was perfect for our family of four and family dogs! The well fenced backyard provided a great playground for the dogs! We also enjoyed one night of grilling hot dogs on the grill and making s’mores using the fire pit while relaxing from a busy day at Moody Gardens. The property was close enough to all Galveston attractions/museums that we could leave dogs in kennels while we explored in the morning, return for lunch to let dogs out to play,etc..and then kennel them back up while we explored or had dinner in the evening. Kids had their own bedrooms and shared a bathroom which allowed teenagers to have a little privacy. We also enjoyed playing cards around the table and having a friendly competition of ping pong in the evenings. Although, I believe there were five TV’s in the home, we didn’t watch the television all week! The neighborhood was quiet and the home provided a calm and welcoming “home base” for all our Galveston adventures!

Super Galveston Home

The home was very clean and furnishings were comfortable. I particularly loved the gas stove with the griddle for quick and easy meals. The location is perfect! The back yard is private and well kept. We will certainly stay here again.

Great host and location

The host were very communicative. They had everything we needed. The beds were so comfortable. The shower was amazing and the back yard was beautiful. Very clean and a great price!!I am from the island and the location is perfect.

3rd Year Snowbirding in Galveston

Have stayed last 3 years in the Galveston area during the late December to early February period. Have stayed in various locations on the island from north & south of 61st Street to down in a elevated home - all have various benefits to there locations.Found this location on Pine Street to be convenient to all that Galveston & Houston has to offer, in a quiet and seemingly safe neighborhood. Short 5 minute drive to beach (which we experienced the rarity 2.5" of snow)Small bungalow home that has recently been remodeled & updated, w/ well stocked kitchen. Off street parking available for single vehicle. Five (5) televisions throughout home, including in garage area that also has a ping pong table. Beach towels provided.Dog friendly home w/ large backyard w/ privacy fencing. Outdoor patio has 6 relaxing poly chairs, picnic table, and small fire pit. Magnetic closing screen on access door convenient for dogs, while allowing for fresh air.Would consider again & recommend to others.

Mini-vac

Clean, quiet, and convenient. Well stocked with essentials that we brought with us. We were amazed at how convenient the home was to the Seawall and other spots in Galveston. Would highly recommend to families of 4 or more. Will definitely be back at this home again! Thank you!

Outstanding!!!

We were in Galveston to celebrate my birthday and chose this property because it was dog friendly and conveniently located to our adult children. It was FABULOUS. It was so comfortable for three adults, perfect for my dogs, and a lovely home in a quiet neighborhood. We can’t wait to come back and stay here again!

Fantastic Work Remotely non-vacation

This property was great for getting away from the freezing MN temps and working remotely for a month. The Wi-Fi connection worked well for 2 people working. The house was very well maintained, and the hosts very responsive. The dogs enjoyed the fenced yard as did we. The beach is a quick drive away so not a problem not being right on the beach. Mario’s Pizza was nice, didn’t go to any any of the fancier restaurants as we were on a little bit of a budget. The Galveston Island Brewery is good if you like that type of thing. We hope to be back in 2025.

Great place to stay!

This property was just what our family of 4 needed. Comfy beds, convenient to all the things we planned to do, and fenced in yard was great to let our dog play in the evenings. Communication with the owners was flawless. They even brought us farm fresh eggs! Super close to all things. 1 mile from Walmart, 1 mile to Moody Gardens. Short drive to Pleasure Pier. Would definitely stay again.

Practical, pet-friendly and a great location

Great little house in close proximity to Schlitterbahn, Moody Gardens, and some great beach locations. A huge yard for pets, comfy beds, modern interior features, and even a ping-pong table make this a great option for families or small gatherings.

Modern and Cozy Galveston House

This stay was amazing! From thje beautiful decor to the complimentary fresh eggs in the fridge. This stay made this weekend getaway even more relaxing. This is everything that I was looking for and more!

Galveston Vacation

Lovely place, with high speed internet, conveniently located, very close to the beach; well equipped kitchen with a Samsung fridge and a Samsung gas stove. There is a beautiful bacyard with a nice charcoal grill. We really enjoyed our stay.. We inadvertently left one item and very quickly we got a call ito alert us. Throuout our stay, owners ensured we had everything we needed. We highly recommend this property.
