Kettle House - As Seen On TV - Island Famous

Welcome to the "Galveston" famous Kettle House. Enjoy this newly renovated 1960's home originally built as a steel storage tank. This home has foam insulation and central AC for ultimate comfort! We have high speed Wi-Fi, 4k Smart TV, and includes all the comforts of home. Large deck great for catching rays and relaxing in the breeze. Seen on HGTV/DIY show "Big Texas Fix"!

IMPORTANT to Note:

There is an interior metal spiral staircase that is steep, tight, and can be difficult to navigate. There are NO HANDRAILS.

Downstairs bedroom with 2 queen beds requires going downstairs and bathroom is upstairs. These beds are also elevated. We do provide stairs with 3 steps for easy access. There are NO rails on bed! So if your worried about yourself or children falling off these beds won’t be for you! Got to work with the space we have :-)

This house has all you could need. Living room with smart tv available and all streaming services so you can log in to your own accounts, plus free Roku TV and movies. Should there be a day you don't want to leave the house we also have some games available for your enjoyment. Open concept living room, kitchen and eat up bar make this common space perfect!

Since this is a beach house there are 14 exterior stairs that take you to the main living space.

This is a West End beach house and like all Galveston there are mosquitoes. We supply big spray at the house and also a bug zapper but during certain times of the year they can be bad. If you leave the outside lights on at night they will attract June bugs and other insects.

Also to note this house is on the “west” end of Galveston by all the beach homes. This house is not in town by restaurants and downtown. It’s approx a 10 min drive back to Walmart and fast food.
