We recommend that you arrive with a car as you will be able to experience the region in all its glory by driving around and discovering many interesting villages. One private parking is of course included.

The villa is in the village of Contone, in the municipality of Gambarogno.

Within a walking distance you can find shops for basic supplies, inns with variety of local dishes and drinks.
Nature lovers will enjoy Lake Maggiore ( 10/15 min by car ) and many hiking trails that surround it.
The region is filled with museums, churches and castles rich with history that dates back to the Early Middle Ages.
Locarno is the closest bigger city where you can stock up on all supplies that you might need during your stay
