“The Hotel Mahendra Prakash is awesome place to stay in Udaipur at affordable cost. The rooms are spacious and gives you haveli like atmosphere. It is located at a prime area, major tourist spots are at walkable distance. Frintdesk, Housekeeping and restaurant staff is efficient and polite. Swimming pool is clean. Good is nice. Amazing breakfast. The owners and family are welcoming.They have maintained high standards of the property. Must stay at this hotel when in Udaipur. Highly recommended.”

“Tucked just off old Main Street not easy to find and harder to stop taxi or Tuk Tuk near. Close to the main attractions.
Set over 4 floors plus roof with views of old city, note no lift. Has some old character.
Rooms a good size with bathroom attached are comfortable but a bit tired.
WiFi only on ground floor and it’s not great.
Can be noisy at night but it’s from nearby bars and Unfortunately you will hear everywhere in old town at night.
Overall a good stay.”

“Bellissimo hotel con una splendida vita sul lago e sul lake palace.
Camera grande e spaziosa, bagno confortevole.
La vista dalle nostre camere era molto bella anche se devo segnalare la presenza sui davanzali di escrementi di volatili, consiglio di prendere provvedimenti perché è un peccato vedere il lake palace e poi avere sotto un tappeto di sporco che non viene rimosso da tempo credo.
Cucina al ristorante buona, con un buon servizio.
Piscina molto grande ma dato il brutto tempo non l’abbiamo...
“Location is fabulous right on lake. The entire staff was wonderful. Warm, friendly, helpful.
Restaurant was good. We had a balcony over looking the lake. The room was large with many small touches. Huge shower. Windows that opened to lake with built in benches to just enjoy. We could have stayed there all day. We will be back!”
“A great find and conviently located. The gentleman on reception was great throughout my stay, very friendly, accommodating and helpful. The room was a good size with lots of old period furnishings. Large comfy bed and a fan heater provided. AC worked well too though being the cooler months use of fan heater was needed. Large bathroom with good hot water shower. Located within walking distance to the Palace entrance gate and plenty of resturants nearby. Would definately recomend and stay here...
“Great location. Most sights within walking distance. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and made you feel at home as soon as you walked through the door. Rajiv was exceptional in the level of service he offered. He went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable. The restaurant was excellent and provided great views of the city and City Palace. The room is basic but has everything you need. There is a fair amount of noise in the area. Would highly recommend.”

One morning, we had to leave early before breakfast service started, and they went out of their way to make sure we could still have a meal before our trip. It was such a thoughtful gesture. On top of that, they surprised us with gifts for our wedding anniversary, which made our stay even more special.
Overall, it was an incredible experience. If I ever return to Udaipur, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay at Moustache again!"
