“景色は最高で、ガンジスの街にも歩いて行ける距離で良かったです。ロビーにはウェルカムドリンク、りんごが置いてあり、クッキーもプレゼントしてもらいました。 宿泊代は高いですが、ホテルの前にも、素敵なレストランもあるので、安心できる便利なロケーションだと思います。 スタッフさんの英語がスピード速すぎて、着いていけなかったです。”

“Room photos on expedia showed a room that had been nicely renovated but our room was one that clearly hadn't been done yet. Place didn't seem full so I'm guessing not very many rooms look like the pictures. There is a pretty big difference between the room we got and the pictures they show so it's hard not to feel a bit deceived. Sound proofing is lacking so we could hear car doors slamming for most of the night. Staff was friendly and helpful and the room was clean. Location is close to local...

“Friendly staff, comfortable bed, nothing special but a reasonable place to stay for a reasonable price. Wouldn’t recommend if you’re a light sleeper or a princess but we enjoyed our stay. ”

“This was potentially the worst hotel stay I've ever had. I've never stayed in a room with such poor sound proofing before and sleeping was miserable. You could hear EVERY time someone opened their door. It didn't help that the bar had karaoke playing super loudly too on Friday and Saturday night. You could hear everything. The guy working at the front desk was lovely but there's only so much you can do to block the noise. It was hard to fall asleep before 1am and I was woken up both mornings...

“The Cottage and Castle is absolutely charming, beautifully decorated and situated in a lovely neighborhood of colourfully painted houses and As well it is anIt’s a real gem. However as we returned after an evening out the stench in the air from a soil, composting, wastewater and recycling treatment plant was overwhelming. I there is a solution to this as Chemainus is a charming town and the Cottage and Castle was exceptional! ”

“Oh boy...I greatly dislike writing negative reviews. While Chemainus is adorable, the location is fantastic and the exterior is a dream...this aint it. Mouldy drapes, a number of amenities were broken (electric fireplace, mouldy fridge), no wifi, questionably clean bedsheets. And (I have photos as proof) a white substance residue left on the counter next to the bed. I will say that the indoor jet tub was amazing! I swear I heard a cough below us at one point and noticed a little door that looked...

“Check-in staff was welcoming and professional. The place was clean. However, I would definitely not rate this resort anymore as luxury for these reasons - no attention to detail such as lack of maintenance in hotel and surrounding (broken bathroom doors, screens not fitting in windows properly, deck glass was moldy and rundown so didn't sit outside, children's play area was not safe and equipment not all put together, room was outdated and old with mismatched material for headboard and chairs,...
