“Amazing property. Friendly staff. We will be back. Only small criticism I have is that the bathroom lighting above the sink was not adequate in our room.”

“This property is under new owners and, athough the service was very good, the upkeep and quality of the breakfast was not at the level of the previous owners. The 3 guys who remodeled and redesigned the property gave excellent service and a breakfast that was second to none!”

“Basic hotel, poor conditions of room and its contets. Shower has no haging points, shower head does not work well, no vetilation, kitchen tools are old, A/C is right on the bed's level hence could not be used during the night in hot weather as it freeses the occupants and it is very noisy.”

“Breakfast is served 6:00am to 10:00am but at 9:30 there wasn't much left so plan to go early for breakfast. Otherwise, everything was great!!”

“Very accommodating to early check in request. A very cosy little cottage just a tiny bit on the small side. Two suitcases - not a lot of space to have them both open. Very clean, great area - peaceful and beautiful grounds - views were lovely. Would def stay there again if in Victoria. Was not able to take advantage of the breakfast unfortunately, but the menu looked delicious!”

“The hotel is poor but one of the only options in Duncan. The so called breakfast is pretty terrible. One banana in the fruit bowl and cold scrambled eggs. Room wasn't very clean”

“Arrived 9 pm but was nice someone still there at desk to greet me. Very friendly. Room large, very old motel. Needs bit of an upgrade, as old bare bones, looking its age. Bathroom could use shelves, as small sink area, and need a plug for bathtub!! None to be found. Loved large kitchen space. Clean and well maintained for its age.”

“No room was not fully equiped, no one was present at the front desk. Bed sheets were filthy and had holes in the blankets. ”

“Nice, new hotel. Rooms were spacious. We had a king suite and double queen suite. The queen suite was very large was perfect for everyone to gather in. The rooms were very clean and beds were comfy. Seemed like the kitchen had good basic - didn’t use anything other than the toaster. Location was great, very close to Dt. Sydney. Would recommend staying here.”
