“We only stayed one night as it was close to the airport, but the staff was friendly, the room was clean and there was lots of parking. Rooms could be a bit more soundproof but given it was just a night it worked!”

“This was my second time staying at The Latch Inn. It has a lovely setting by the marina. The rooms are very majestic. The staff is very polite and oh so helpful. The breakfast dining room is lovely and the food was perfect. The only thing I would comment on is that there was a slight smell of gas coming from the fireplace in the dining hall which my husband reported to the staff and another guest also reported the smell that had been coming from their fireplace in their suite. “The heater in our room did not work so it was always too cool. The bed was situated right beside the heater so the air was not able to circulate properly and it would shut down after a few minutes. The breakfast was adequate but the eggs, potatoes and meat were often cold or barely warm. ”

“A lovely B&B close to everything in Sidney. A purpose built B&B, with very quiet and comfortable rooms. A continental breakfast is delivered to your room, as often guests are heading to the ferry or airport. Worked perfectly for us. Room was very comfortable with our own heat control, fireplace, jetted tub and shower, and comfortable bed and linens. Great safe parking in the back of the inn. Highly recommend. ”

“Small town, older motel. It had what we needed but it may not work for everyone. Spent one night before flying out. Might be wise to stay closer to the international airport as the highways can be congested. ”

“Excellent two night stay on our bicycle tour. Staff were excellent. Rooms were fabulous. Breakfast was very good. Definitely would stay here again. Only comment I have is for all hotels....cycling touring is growing with the e-bike community. Secure bike storage should be available at all hotels. This hotel was very accommodating allowing us to take our bikes to our rooms but this was somewhat inconvenient for us as well as other guests using the elevator. ”

“Last minute date night booking and it did not disappoint. It is so nice that once you’re there you have everything you need, and if not the front desk will make it so. Dinner was amazing and the views are stunning. It felt like a world away even though it’s a quick drive from home. I’m already looking forward to the next visit where we will stay 2 nights instead of 1 and take advantage of the spa. Highly recommend!”

“Very accommodating to early check in request. A very cosy little cottage just a tiny bit on the small side. Two suitcases - not a lot of space to have them both open. Very clean, great area - peaceful and beautiful grounds - views were lovely. Would def stay there again if in Victoria. Was not able to take advantage of the breakfast unfortunately, but the menu looked delicious!”
