“Good A/C, nice sized room. Appreciated the "larger" mini frudge and coffee maker in the room. Very helpful woth local resources and advice on best travel routes. Got to see a mother howler monkey nursing her baby in the tree just adjacent to the room. Room walls are concrete, so couldn't hear anything from adjacent rooms. Much more serene atmosphere than the hectic pace and crowds in Nosara and Guiones beach areas. Would definitely stay again. Thank you, Louie for wonderful hospitality.”

“The Sunset Shack was fantastic for our family trip to Nosara. The beach is super close, and the town is very cute. We were right in the middle of it all. Monkeys in the mango trees on the property in the morning, and iguanas roaming all day. The food, the staff, and the hotel itself were all 5 stars! We would love to return to Nosara, and would not stay anywhere else. Thank you Sunset Shack!”

“DO NOT COME HERE!! -Arrived to a very dark empty lobby. -Room service is very slow...an hour.. -Heavy construction and renovations being done. -Lots closed because of it including GYM. -Whatsapps communication only -Beach attached is gray and brown -Random restaurants becoming unavailable onsite at a seconds notice. -Only one buffet available and it's breakfast hotel style, very small 7am-10am -Minimal resort activities. -Resort room terrible(AC is super weak so you sweat a lot, shower handle...
