Hotel vicino a Gateshead Leisure Centre - Newcastle sul Tyne

“We booked a junior suite for a 2 night stay in Newcastle in April. My wife found this hotel online as we wanted to stay in town for a change. We arrived by car - option of valet parking (£40) or park at the lot behind the hotel - hotel as an air of Ralph Lauren interiors about it and the room was very clean. Some issues; the window light left watching TV impossible and the bath wasn't able to produce hot water. Oddly the sink and shower were fine. The bar area was dimly lit (not dark) and...

“Stayed at INNSiDE by Meliá Newcastle and it absolutely delivers. Prime Quayside location, slick modern rooms, and everything just works, clean, comfortable, and well thought out. The complimentary minibar is a nice touch and the river views are an absolute bonus. Service is spot on, friendly, efficient, no fuss. Food at Gino D’Acampo Newcastle is genuinely very good and rounded off my stay nicely. Simple: great hotel, no weak points, would 100% stay again.”

“Staff were so friendly and welcoming. Room was very clean and comfortable. The kitchenette was very well equipped with everything you’d need for a short or longer stay. Plenty of secure parking and fabulous breakfast. Would highly recommend this hotel. ”

“Personale gentilissimo, camere spaziose e pulite con bagno confortevole. Parcheggio comodo e sicuro accanto all’Hotel. Noi abbiamo anche cenato menu semplice ma piacevole. La colazione potrebbe migliorare. Location sul fiume a 15 minuti a piedi in salita dal centro. Hotel con piscina che noi non abbiamo utilizzato”

“Good hotel, fairly dog friendly, good location near Ouseburn. Very nice and spacious room.”

“Very spacious room. Bed could have been a little more comfortable but was adequate. Close to many walkable sites. The room access cards kept failing once or twice a day which was annoying but all the staff were helpful and friendly. Laundry was a pain as it was very expensive and had to be provided to them by 8am if you wanted it back the same day. We took an Uber to a coin laundry and it took an hour and was cheaper including the cost of the Uber there and back”

“The location was perfect. It was clean and the staff was very kind. My only complaint was the design of the shower. Other than that it was a wonderful hotel! ”

“Breakfast was great, all 3 of our rooms booked had permanent issues with air conditioning and bathroom extraction where they did not work at all, so there was no air flow in the rooms and was hot all weekend. Maintenance came and reset the fusebox but it failed almost straight away after. We were supplied small fans but not great considering the hotel we thought we were booking. Other than that we had a lovely stay but feel slightly let down with the room circulation.”
