This less crowded entrance provides access to epic hiking trails and peaceful fishing spots. 🏞 To enjoy the mountain views, one must navigate the mountain roads, which are STEEP, WINDING, and sometimes NARROW and UNLIT. Though the driveway is very steep, it is paved and wide. Just take it slowly, and you'll be a pro mountain driver in no time!
❄ 4WD is necessary in the winter months if there is snow or ice!! This is always a possibility December-February. Travel insurance recommended!❄

🎦 Security Cameras: For your safety, 3 Ring cameras are facing out from the front door, towards the driveway, and the parking lot. They always record any movement in their field of view, and these recordings are stored.
🧴 Toiletries: We provide a starter supply of shampoo, shower gel, conditioner, hand soap and makeup wipes in each bathroom. Depending on the length of your stay, you may need to purchase additional items when this supply runs out.

🐞 The region is still very much "the untamed mountains", so wildlife and insects are pervasive. This is especially true of ladybugs and their look-alike cousins, the Asian Beetle. We take every precaution and employ a monthly pest prevention program with a licensed exterminator. Despite that, you may still encounter them and other small insects or critters in or around the home. This includes black bears, raccoons, and thousands of other species.🐻
