Booked several days to attend a funeral, had a family disaster and requested a partial refund or some sort of good will gesture. I appreciate the deal we booked was non refundable but under the sad circumstances of my mother being hospitalised I did expect some gesture, but no. You'd think then that having paid for the night before we arrived, we wouldn't be told that check in wasn't till 2pm. Otherwise it was ok. When we next visit family we won't be staying there so it was very short sighted to choose not to help us.
