Beautiful lake view rentals in Geneva-on-the-Lake Ohio. Located within walking distance from the strip and the marina. Over 30 wineries within 15 miles. Great place to unwind and relax near majestic Lake Erie. Part of Christopher's Dockside Cottages, Shipwreck Shed, is a beautifully decorated escape and the perfect setting to enjoy your time away. This cottage is inspired by the shore of Lake Erie. Great for hanging out with friends. Enjoy the beach or marina by day and explore the wineries or nightlife on the strip. The cottage has a fully stocked chef's kitchen if you prefer to stay in. You'll love the decor and all the subtle touches to make your trip a memorable one. Can combine with other units on-site for larger group outings such as family reunions or weddings.

Great location!

This is a small, but beautiful, clean cabin. The outdoor area is large and inviting. Easy walk to the strip. The only suggestion I would make is that it lists it sleeps 6-this includes a small futon that would only fit one adult, so it would sleep five adults. Overall I highly recommend this property.

Overnight GOTL Stay

Fun Girls Weekend

We had a great time during our stay! The cabin was within walking distance of a lot of activities. It was easy to get to the wine shuttle. Chris was easy to work with and provided helpful tips for our stay. Cabin was clean and adorable.

Cute getaway on the lake!

Booking was simple. We got detailed instructions the day before. The name of your shed/cabin is important! We didn't realize that all of the host's properties are connected (kind of like apartments/townhomes), so the name of the one you booked is how you find it (instead of a number). There was some dirt and wrappers under the futon but it was clean overall and that could have just been missed during cleaning. The location is great and close to the strip. Parking can be tight on one end (which the host told us about ahead of time; nothing they can do about that!). We could text the host if needed (which I did at the end of our stay to explain there was no broom to sweep, but we cleaned the best we could). Also there is a maintenance man on site. That was helpful since we needed a laundry basket and he brought us one. It was a cute place and awesome location. Would totally book it again. Thanks!

Very very clean

Stayed in Sherry's shack with some girlfriends for a getaway. We knew it was going to be small but it slept five of us. Was immaculate very very clean. Had any amenity you could think of available to us. The property manager and his wife were delightful. We'll be back

I think the word is “cozy”

The ad says the place sleeps six, but that is misleading. It has a set of full-size bunk beds and one couch-futon combo. The ad should describe the sleeping arrangements without overestimating how many people could cram into them. Aside from that, the room is well put together, stocked well enough for cooking and eating, the shower was small but had nice hot water, and the outdoor spaces made for good socializing and eating areas. Easy walk to water and the “strip.” Also, Dan was super helpful. Suggestions for the owner: the bathroom needs a towel bar and/or towel hooks, and the refrigerator door should be reversed (so it opens from the right).

GREAT PROPERTIES

My family stayed in Shipwreck Shed and Camilla’s Beach Glass Cottage (side by side). Both were very nice, very clean and the property owners and the care takers were excellent! Highly recommend either of these properties for vacation in a great little town along Lake Erie.
