Ba Roos - Exuma's Dreamiest Beach House/On the Beach w 350ft of Beachfront!

Located on the white sandy beach of Tar Bay and situated on four lots with over 350ft of beachfront, Ba Roos is the perfect beach rental and is one of Exuma's most sought after beachfront properties.

The main house offers three king suites and a custom bunk room that sleeps four. Each of the four suites is fitted with pillow top beds and luxurious linens for a dreamy sleep.

Ba Roos offers a well appointed and open floor plan for easy entertaining. The fully stocked kitchen can accommodate a night of gourmet cooking or just a morning cup of coffee. Step outside and you'll be greeted by a vanishing edge pool overlooking the ocean and an outdoor lounge and grill for "island style" dinning.

Ba Roos is protected from the road by natural island foliage and a rock cliff driveway. The natural incline drive and placement of the house provides guests with the perfect amount of privacy from the road and distant neighbors.

Enjoy your own private bar and relax on your own private beach away from strolling beach goers. Boozy Roos is steps away from the main house. Along with the addition of Boozy Roos our guests and relax on the oceanside patio or take a stroll on two miles of secluded beach occupied by Tar Bay homeowners.

Guests will find three kayaks, two paddle boards, a hammock and resort style beach umbrellas and chairs. Ba Roos is pure island luxury.

40th Birthday Trip

Our trip was a surprise 40th birthday getaway for my wife, and this home exceeded all her expectations. The location and breathtaking views were simply unbeatable. Every recommendation for the home was outstanding. I highly recommend booking a night with Chef Khristont—you won't be disappointed! Everyone had ample space and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Conversations quickly turned to when we would return. We will definitely be back!

Fantastic!!!

This was our groups’s second stay at Ba Roos and was again absolutely stunning!!!! The views from every inch of the house and property are absolutely amazing- we couldn’t take our eyes off the most turquoise water we’ve ever seen! The grounds are stunning and HUGE. It is on at least 3 lots so you feel like you are on a private tropical paradise. There was no detail missed at this place! The owners and property manager were amazing and communicated very well!! We will be staying here every time we visit!!! No other place even comes close!!! Thank you for an unforgettable trip!!

Family vacation

This was our third trip to Exuma and each time we fall in love with the island more and more. BaRoos is an amazing property on Tar Bay convenient to airport and town. We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful beachfront property with our adult and teenage children. Getting down and back up from the beach is a little tricky due to lack of stairs so this would be something to keep in mind if you have folks with mobility challenges joining you. The house was well equipped and the beds are super comfy. Amazing views from the two masters, kitchen and family room that take your breath away. Highly recommend BaRoos!

You won't want to leave!

I researched a lot of properties and vacation spots before we booked this trip to the Exumas. We definitely chose the right spot to make a memorable experience for our family. The home location was perfectly situated on the island, close to the airport, halfway up so that we could easily explore in both directions. The house is beautiful and just as described. Easy to just relax in the pool and beach and take in the gorgeous views. We did have a little problem with the AC not working for a couple of days, but the property manager helped us get comfortable with fans and was able to get it fixed as quickly as they could, they were very accommodating and communicated great with us. We will definitely keep Ba Roos on our list for future vacations...my family agreed that this was the best beach vacation we have taken and cannot wait to come back some day!

Favorite stay on the island

We've come to Exuma 7-8 times over the last 12 years. Ba Roos was by far our favorite place we've stayed. Everything was perfect and we were so sad to leave. All future stays will be booked at Ba Roos. Simply spectacular.

Amazing Vacation!

This was the most amazing home with incredible surrounding views of Exuma's gorgeous blue water! Comfort, beautiful design of home was perfect for our family! Beds were comfortable, kitchen was well stocked and spacious, every detail was perfect! We will definitely come back!

Paradise and Glorious Stay

Baroos met (and exceeded) all our expectations. The house is stunning and the layout is perfect, giving everyone space but also plenty of room (outside and inside) to gather and catch up. The outdoor area is spectacular. The pool was great to sit by and relax and read a book and sleep. We took the very short walk to the beach and floated around in the rings. Paddleboards, kayaks and float devices area all easily accessible and ready to use when the water cooperates. The beach is essentially private and we only saw a couple other people during our entire stay. It was a perfect 5 days and I wish we had stayed longer. You won't regret staying at BaRoos. I would also like to suggest hiring Khristont (private chef) for a night. He was incredible and was the best meal we had. Dena (Dena's donuts) is also amazing for breakfast delivery and dinner. Great location, well-appointed, great floor plan

I hesitate to write this review as I want to ensure Ba Roos doesn't get too popular it becomes difficult to book. :-) Given the owners dedication to building this property, it is the right thing to do and write the review. Been to Exuma a few times (Little Exuma all times) and we enjoyed being on Great Exuma and also Tar Bay. Centrally located and convenient. During August, even though there were winds, Tar Bay was swimmable. House floor plan is stretched out so even if there is activity in common areas, bedrooms don't hear it. Bedding, mattresses, towels and linens were comfortable. House was well appointed outside and inside for lots of enjoyment. I share the sentiment of another reviewer that it is so well situated and appointed, it was difficult to find reason to leave. Well done Ba Roos!

Absolutely Stunning!!!

Words cannot even describe how beautiful this property is! This was our group's third trip to the Exumas and this house does not even compare to the other houses we stayed at. The views are somehow even better than in the pictures. The house is pristine, extremely well maintained, and was spotless when we arrived! The actual property is huge and felt like we were on our own tropical island! The landscaping is immaculate and the inside decor is beautiful! It came equipped with everything you need and we appreciated even the smallest details that were thought of (such as the insulated cups that kept our drinks cold :) Both the owner and property manager were extremely responsive with anything we needed. Thank you for an unforgettable vacation! We will be coming back and will definitely be staying here again!!!
