  • La nostra villa è a pochi passi di distanza dal mare color smeraldo scintillante. Si trova in una privata cul de sac con 8 ville. La spiaggia di fronte alla villa è bianca e sabbiosa, con acque relativamente calme protette da Stocking Island. Buon cibo e bar sono proprio accanto al nuovo Exuma Beach Resort e Augusta Bay. A soli 5 minuti a piedi dalla una delle migliori spiagge di Great Exuma (Jolly Hall Beach), così come il famoso Fish Fry locale dove si trovano i migliori costole barbecue, grigliate di pesce fresco e famosa insalata conchiglia a Steve.

    Una confortevole villa con una camera da letto per una coppia o coppia con 2 bambini sotto i 12 anni. Decorato con arredi in stile isolano. Godetevi l'arioso soggiorno con nuovi TV LCD, Wi-Fi ad alta velocità, grigliate di pesce fresco sul barbecue o utilizzare la nostra cucina completamente attrezzata con forno a microonde e forno. Tra gli altri servizi che abbiamo aggiunto includono lettore DVD, lavatrice / asciugatrice. La camera da letto principale ha un bagno en-suite e il soggiorno ha un divano letto matrimoniale con bagno separato. Villa è dotata di aria condizionata, ma ci sono ventilatori a soffitto in tutte le camere. Questo è un affitto diretto dai proprietari e non parte di Hideaways.

    Georgetown si trova a circa 1. 4 miglia di distanza lungo la Queens Highway per lo shopping e generi alimentari. Fate un breve tragitto in taxi boat da Augusta Bay per chattare and Chill per la sua famosa porchetta la domenica e nuotare con i delfini amichevoli e alimentare un amichevole ray pet puntura chiamato Sunshine.

Very nice unit!Gorgeous bathroomsWasher and dryer in unit very handy. Well equipped kitchen.Gorgeous sunrise view from the unit.Concierge Cleo communication could be better. Poor response from her.Unit does not have a beach umbrella, but it would’ve been nice. Short walk to very beautiful Jolly Beach, and many restaurants.

Place was big enough. Needs a good cleaning thru out. Need extra bed sheets to do changes. Dryer was not working the best. Need kayaks out side not in living room.Place was quiet . beach was good and close to town.

Exuma is great

Cleo is an excellent host. She was very helpful answering many questions and meeting us upon our arrival. The place could use some updating, like a new couch and bed. The beautiful water of Exuma made it a great trip.

Nice place have been many times 47th year coming to exuma Great cottage Friendly host Fabulous location Unconnected with this is the oddly run resort next door that requires a sideways entrance to the rental property rather than through the main entrance minor inconvenience but odd And incredibly unfriendly staff at adjoining restaurant Property itself is wonderful

Cloe was very accommodating

The place was good for the price. Loved the location. Bed was big which I loved but a little too hard for me. Loved having the washer and dryer in there . The couch was very uncomfortable. Cloe said they are doing a full renovation in April can’t wait to see it all done over.

Renter advisory

Prop mgr. very responsive before trip & upon arrival. Clean & fully equipped w/basics. Disappointed restaurant onsite closed for remodel & other local eateries only open on weekends. Beach scene in photo not beach at property. Very narrow ‘beach’ @ property not as pristine with seaweed. Villa is a dated cottage that does not face beach with 3 cottages between rrental & beach. Not allowed to swim in pool or use clubhouse, gym, or complimentary shuttle because owner not affiliated with HideAway association. Spent $20-$40/day on taxis to restaurants & well know beaches. Advise avoiding Exuma during slow season because of shop & restaurant closures.

I do not leave this review lightly. The location was great, centally located on the island, and close to the beach. However, the unit itself was absolutely disguisting. Do not be fooled as we were about "newly remodeled". Sure, there's a couple "updated" areas and we were not expecting the Ritz given the price point; however, we were expecting a clean place to stay. That's not what we got. Every surface was gross. There was a smell, the water in the shower was brown, blood on the bathroom, door casing, the washer was rusty, dead large bugs in mutiple locations, fingernails in the pullout couch (where the the child was supposed to sleep), etc. Every single surface was covered with a layer of filth and some type of stain. Both my husband and 11 year old daughter began to itch. The host was so rude and aggresive and seemed so put out by our mere presence. My husband and I have traveled the world and this is by far the worst place we've stayed ever. We've never been so uncomfortable in our lives. Please don't be misled by this listing!!!!!

We spent a week in March 2025 in this new renovated villa. This small villa is like a simple cottage. The villa is located on the grounds of Hideaways Beach Resort at Palm Bay. This villa is privately owned and does not belong to this resort. From the villa to the sandy beach it's only a few steps. Unfortunately, you can only use the Hideaways Resort's pool for a fee. The villa was well cleaned. Kitchen and both bathrooms are modernized. The villa is equipped with everything you need for a short or longer stay and for self-catering: microwave, stove with oven, toaster, refrigerator, freezer, filter coffee machine, kettle, blender, pots and pans, dishes, kitchen utensils, washing machine with dryer, hairdryer, linens and new towels. TV, air condition, fans and free Wi-Fi are available and worked well. There is no dining table on the terrace, only a small side table and two relaxation chairs. We enjoyed our coffee on the terrace with the view to the sea and the other villas. The bed was comfortable for us, we slept well. There are two kayaks in the villa. You can use them free of charge. The communication with Cleo was pleasent. She gave us a lot of information about shopping, restaurants and other. Should you have a problem, Cleo is also very helpful. There is a restaurant in the Hideaways Resort and you can also walk to the Fish Fry. There are many dining options. We usually ate at Krusty Crab. The food is delicious and the prices are good.

Everything you need

Things I look for in a vacation rental: 1. Value. Yes, this place is a good value for the nightly rate compared to others on the island. 2. Convenience. Yes, there is a bar and grill on the property that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner so you don't have to drive anywhere to eat or get a cocktail. Also, there is a full kitchen in the villa, and a washer and dryer. Wifi, of course. And cold air-conditioning. 3. Location. Yes, you are a 30 second walk to the beach where you can lounge and swim, and a 10 minute walk to Coco Plum beach which is a world-class, picturesque location. There are also several grocery stores and restaurants within a 5 to 10 minute drive.

Property needs a makeover

The property itself to summarize it in three words needs TLC. The location is in a great area. This property is inside the Hideaways hotel but it’s privately owned so you cannot use any of the hotel amenities . I saw other villas from the actual hotel that were in way better conditions. The room was not clean enough it was very dusty and made my allergies worse. I wish I had cleaning supplies so I could clean the sand and dust myself. The room also had a weird smell all the time. To me it smelled moldy like humidity. The owner mentioned they had just recently painted although it did not smell like paint to us. This villa needs a makeover being in the exclusive beach location like Exumas it definitely needs more care. The only thing we enjoyed was the location since everything was close by and we enjoyed the outdoors more than anything else.

Great place to stay with our family. Central to everything. Kayaks a huge plus. Willie very nice and responsive! Splash bar on site is a great addition.
