Great location for local markets/foods and restaurants, but makes for heavy traffic near by. Casino is just 5 mins walk. Staff is very helpful, caring & cheerful and have decent free breakfast. Couple of negatives: Rooms are not fully sound proof and lift is very slow.

The hotel was good overall. However, there was a language barrier, which made communication difficult at times. Seeta however was very helpful and friendly. The area was convenient for my business trip. However, I felt uncomfortable at night due to apparent illegal activities in front of the hotel.

We booked at the last minute because the Airbnb we were in was without air conditioning. We booked Aspire Plus. Checked in early. The room was small but cozy. The shower was the best. Beds were super comfortable and staff was very helpful. Definitely will stay again & again. Local markets within walking distance. Eateries are close by and local food is a short distance.

No English speaking people when checking in. There is a lack of service…. No towels when needed. Was asked to take my towel down to be washed instead of service to the room. Only one hard working person who seems dedicated but the rest were just sitting around! Noisy place at and it does not feel safe at night! I suppose they cater for a group of tourist who are no English speaking!

The staff were courteous and friendly and this created a welcoming environment The hotel looked surprisingly like the photos online. No phone in the room to call the front desk and no toiletries in the room so bring or buy your own; but otherwise a great and affordable place to stay that is conveniently located close to the market.

This property was wonderful to stay at during our time in Georgetown. The hotel itself is new and very beautiful. Comfortable bed, hot shower, a great breakfast, and complimentary water. The staff was wonderful. The owner was quick to answer any questions we had about the city and arranged a taxi to and from the airport for us. Since we arrived late, he even had the driver stop so we could pick up some dinner on the way to the hotel. I have not felt so appreciated as a hotel guest like this at any other hotel. This is the only hotel I would stay at on our next trip to Georgetown!

Best Hotel In Guyana

Great hotel and staffs. It’s very comfortable and clean! It’s located in the heart of Georgetown, which makes it a plus! The security is always there for your safety... The rooms are very spacious and the hotel had all the amenities that I was looking for. I felt like I was home & I was always welcomed with a smile by staffs. the complimentary breakfast are amazing... there’s also a bar downstairs, if you don’t want to leave the hotel you are always welcome to get a drink or two. The neighborhood is safe and I would always recommend this hotel to anyone ! it was my pleasure staying here.

My comments regarding my stay are as follows: I traveled for business, so I needed a good place to stay. First, the hotel is not as it appears in the photos. Second, the elevator seems very outdated, like something from the 1980s, and is in poor condition. The breakfast was extremely limited, with little variety, and it was prepared in a style that was quite spicy and not suitable for all tastes. The rooms are small and had an unpleasant odor. I would suggest being more consistent with what you actually offer, as there is a clear difference between what is shown in the photos and the reality. Additionally, there was a lot of noise from outside—people shouting and speaking loudly—which made it difficult to rest. Thank you

Okay stay, but manage your expectations

I'd stay at this hotel again, but I was expecting something really different based on the average rating from other Hotels.com customers. Check-in was a comedy of errors. The hotel had contacted me through Hotels.com's messaging system and also on WhatsApp. It turns out this was two different hotel employees. (The one on WhatsApp literally didn't even know that Hotels.com has a messaging system and denied that anyone from the hotel could have contacted me.) We were expecting a driver to pick us up at the airport. Because of the messaging confusion, this didn't happen. We messaged the hotel on WhatsApp from the airport. (We not only did not get a response, but the message wasn't even read until 12 hours later.) So we took a taxi. We arrived at the hotel at 7am to find all the doors locked. We banged on them. No response. Our taxi driver kindly called the hotel and we finally got someone to open the door. I feel bad for that employee: she was single-handedly trying to cook breakfast for all the guests, set up the dining room, and staff the front desk. This is why the doors were locked. The hotel had told us in advance that their credit-card machine was down. (I bet it is always "down.") We were assured there were "many other" forms of payment. "Many" means one: perfectly clean US dollars with no folds or tears. The hotel looked newly renovated, but there was already extensive water damage. There are no stairs, only one elevator that is very slow and got stuck easily.
