“The hotel has a rich history. It was built in 1896 as school and remained a school for over 100 years. I don’t when the building was converted to a hotel but the own did a great job a keeping the hotel in keeping with Gettysburg’s history. The rooms were spacious and there are limited number of rooms. So the hotel has an intimate feel. Plenty of parking. Who knows. There could even be some spirits roaming the halls at night. I didn’t see or hear any.”

“Loved the patio it was so nice sitting out side after traveling all day. The towels were damp.”

“Went for a basket weaving convention. All was good. Breakfast needs to be kept warmer.”

“Our room was very clean. Even the corners and areas where the wall meets the floor in the bathroom were dust and hair free. We didnt expect housekeeping but they made the bed, changed out towels, and emptied waste cans. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was enough and coffee was always on and hot. I would definetely stay at this hotel again.”

“Disappointed in the size of the room. Small television with only regular channels, tiny bathroom and when booked they showed a restaurant. Coupon for Friendly's which was disappointing. Free breakfast was good and well organized but for the price, we will not be back.”
