They were actually after me and I was told I had to wait till 3 o’clock. I got there at about 1:45. “Our stay at S31 was great. The building is incredible and the rooms are modernized, but still have the original woodwork. The Village gate is close with great restaurants and boutique shops. The neighborhood is full of history and a great place to take a late night walk. Although there is not currently a dining area at the property, they have great snack options for enjoying in the room and great local wines. “No hot breakfast either morning, never mentioned a problem during checkin, just a sign each morning saying no hot breakfast.”

“The hotel called and cancelled our reservation as we were pulling into the parking lot after check in time. They offered no help in finding an alternate reservation and when I asked to speak to the manager they hung up on me. Went inside the lobby, which smelled so strongly of weed it was almost unbearable. The staff behind the desk was visibily trying to avoid dealing with me, so I left. Only got a refund because Expedia’s customer service is good. The hotel never offered or initiated one ”

“The cleanliness of this hotel was very questionable. The smell in the hallway was very mildew & the room we had smelled like cigarettes our whole stay , even the towels smelled. The bed had a huge deep dent in it & the blow drier was sticky. Nothing was clean about this place ”
