“Absolutely fantastic stay here! From the moment we checked in we felt at home and comfortable in the beautiful property. Jan and his colleagues were all helpful, friendly and enthusiastic throughout. Room was absolutely spotless, well appointed and comfortable. Food was exceptional, can’t speak highly enough about the evening meal we had it was absolutely delicious and breakfast in the morning was tasty too, super fresh pastries! Thank you for a wonderful visit, we look forward to coming back!”

“The room was far too hot. There was a thick winter 13 tog duvet on our bed ( and it was June weather) my husband asked for a blanket and sheet so the cleaner took away duvet but only left a sheet no blanket, so we were then cold on our second night and had to put our light raincoats on ourselves to keep warm:( The bed was far too small with it being a small double. Suggest you get smaller bedsize cabinets thsn the chunky ones and invest in a wider king-size bed for comfort for guests!”

“The B&B is definitely the best in my experience. Bedroom as well as bathroom are very clean and tidy. The paper folders in bathroom is antique-wise. Also electrical equipments are convenient and cool. Coffee server and fridge are stylish. Lights are well designed. Breakfast is delicious and plenty. Graham’s homemade jams are excellent. “Lovely comfortable B&B with a very friendly owner. Our bedroom was perfect...comfortable bed, large clean seperate bathroom with a roll top bath overlooking the garden & countryside beyond. We had fresh milk for drinks, kept in a mini fridge & a wide variety of drink choices. We enjoyed chatting with Martin, one of the owners. Parking is on the roadside...plenty available. The town is easy enough to walk, but there is also plenty of parking available in Castle Cary, the interesting local town.”

“Called for one while exploring the Somerset Levels. Perfect location for managed to book the last room, this was the largest of all the rooms available comfortable, clean & very spacious. The propriter was very welcoming on arrival and made us tea to take in the rear.”

“Had a great stay here after a last minute decision to stop over in Glastonbury. The family room was perfect for my husband, myself and our 5 year old with a very large space and comfy beds in a well decorated and clean room. It also had a fan which was appreciated on a hot day. The staff were really friendly and made a big fuss of our boy. We had dinner in the pub and the children’s meal included ice cream in the price which made him very happy! “We had a lovely and comfortable stay in this well-located house. Even though I missed the check-in time details, Lisa was extremely accommodating and gave us a very warm welcome. She also recommended some great places to eat and visit, which we really appreciated. We would happily stay here again.”

“Really lovely place. Very quiet and peaceful. A bit off the beaten track but still only half an hour away from Bristol. Really comfortable bed, and I had the best nights sleep I’ve had in ages. I wouldn’t say this if it wasn’t true! Only one minor point is that the shower head was a bit too low for me, as I’m around 6’ tall.”
