Questo è un posto perfetto per una vacanza tranquilla per 2 o una meravigliosa alternativa al soggiorno in hotel richiesto. Il cottage è stato costruito totalmente a mano, dal proprietario, con alberi tagliati dalla proprietà. È progettato per gli adulti e non c'è nessun posto dove i bambini possano giocare.

DUE KAYAK sono disponibili per godersi la nostra grande insenatura o per esplorare Shull Island.

Se rimani una settimana e potresti lasciare il lago, sono due ore da Charleston, Carolina del Sud. Downtown Columbia è a 35/40 minuti e lo zoo (30 minuti) State Museum e il museo dei bambini meritano la visita. Ristoranti e molte possibilità di shopping sono a Lexington, a 18 minuti in auto. Molti ristoranti e negozi di alimentari sono facilmente raggiungibili in 10/15 minuti di auto dalla pensione. La maggior parte degli affittuari preferisce fare acquisti prima dell'arrivo.

The cottage exceeded our expectations. It was very private and had a beautiful view of the lake from the large front window. The whole lower level was the bedroom and included a washer and dryer. It should be noted that the only bathroom is on the top floor so it could be a challenge for someone with mobility issues. We personally didn't find this a problem. All the basics were provided. Probably the most important feature of any vacation rental is the Host. We found Ellen to be very personable and has a lovely sense of humor. She is very responsive to questions and proved to be a superb host.

This was a wonderful property. Ellen and Andy were wonderful. They gave us suggestions of things to do and were always available if we needed them. The cottage was clean and well maintained. The view was perfect and made for a relaxing week. We will definitely be back in the future.

This rental property is in a wonderful location. The owners are wonderful people and are very accommodating. It is close to everything that you need yet very secluded. You are right on Lake Murray and have great access to the water. My wife and I can highly recommend this location and will look forward to staying here again someday.

What a beautiful cottage! Ellen and Andy are gracious hosts and the cottage is a perfect getaway for a couple wanting to enjoy a relaxing vacation to Lake Murray. My husband and I had a wonderful time. The cottage is very clean, organized and beautifully decorated. You can enjoy great views of the lake from the living room/dining area and kitchen. The bed is very comfortable and there is a deck right off the bedroom to enjoy lake views as well. The property surrounding the cottage is very pretty and nicely landscaped. A short ride to some really great restaurants. Thank you Ellen and Andy!!

WA large, two person cottage with a calming natural view of the lake, framed by trees. Large TV so that it can easily be watched Two kayaks to go kayaking in Lake Murray, which is absolutely wonderful. Many places to take an evening stroll. Only 20 minutes drive to Lexington for good restaurants. This is a great place to come to just relax and do nothing but read books and watch the lake

Our stay was nice until the host sent us a message wondering why the blinds were closed all the time. Apparently she wanted to he able to see what we were doing. However she did say that she saw a little bit - not sure what tho. After that message we packed up and left because we did not feel safe. I mean how would she expect us to feel? She didn’t understand how that actually sounded. Of course she will not refund any of our stay. I will definitely not book this property again and will never recommend it to anyone.

The cottage had everything we needed. The cottage and area are beautiful, safe and well-kept. We kayaked, walked, ran, and fished, saw turtles, an armadillo, deer, lizards bunnies, squirrels birds and had morning and evening visits from a hummingbird. The decor of world travel photos will have you planning your next vacation. My husband is already considering his next trip to this lake cottage. Host responded quickly to my questions. The cottage is tucked in a cove and very private.

What a great little cottage in a cove on lake murray! Clean, modern, well decorated and has everything. Kayaks are a great way to explore. Andy and Ellen are wonderful hosts and on site. Private and quiet but tons of things to do all within 20 minutes. I have stayed here several times and highly recommend!

Perfect retreat for me and my adult son. The separation of levels allowed both of us privacy, yet still together enjoying our week. Bed was comfy! Son said pull out couch was just like a normal bed. We needed to find a quiet place to stay on the water, and this beautiful cottage was the perfect fit. We were able to watch the wildlife from the deck along with the awesome view. Everything about our stay was exactly what we needed. The host was extremely accommodating as well!
