“A lovely stay at the Royal Oak for one night. Very friendly and attentive staff. They were more than happy to arrange late access to the property due to us having to return to the room late at night. Breakfast was excellent, with options for full English or kippers, plus plenty of toast, cereals, fruit, yoghurt. The car park is very small, and can't accommodate all vehicles, however there is ample parking on the road at the front of the property. The room was comfortable with clean linens....

“On arriving we noticed front door was very dirty. Was expecting a welcoming Yorkshire hospitality surprise but nothing. The windows were really dirty and loads of cobwebs. The bedding was nice and clean and we slept really well. Our neighbour Neil was very helpful and offered us some kindling and firelighters thst first night he even got the fir going for us.
