- Situated between Girvan and Turnberry, this idyllic farmhouse surrounded by rolling green fields offers families and friends a great base to uncover the beauty of the Ayrshire countryside and coastline. This wonderful countryside spot is perfectly placed for exploring the breathtaking landscapes of the Ayrshire Coastal Path and the Firth of Clyde, a haven for nature lovers and keen outdoor explorers alike. History buffs will be spoilt for choice with an array of beautiful, historic castles in the local area, including Culzean, Blairquhan, and Dalquharran (all within 14 miles). Golfers are also well catered for with the championship course of Turnberry (2.5 miles). Those who love life on the water can enjoy a scenic boat trip around Ailsa Craig Island from Girvan Harbour (7 miles) or catch the ferry to the mystical Isle of Arran from Troon (25 miles).
Hang your coats and kick off your walking boots in the spacious entrance hallway that welcomes you, then head into the cosy lounge to unwind after a day’s adventure; flick on the Smart TV and sink into the soft furnishings. When stomachs rumble, move through to the light-filled kitchen/diner, where sleek features and modern appliances combine to offer a well-appointed space for cooking up and enjoying Scottish feasts together. Completing the ground floor is a large family bathroom perfect for washing off the day, plus a master king-size bedroom. The two final bedrooms are upstairs, both offering double beds and scenic views, and served by a family shower room.
Outside, the beautiful and enclosed garden offers the perfect spot to soak up the far-reaching countryside views that surround you. Enjoy picnics and garden games on the lawn, and fire up the charcoal BBQ for al fresco meals you shan’t forget. Guests can pre-book breakfast and BBQ packs from the local butcher (through the owner), arrange balloons and flowers for celebrations (also through the owner), and will benefit from ample off-road parking.
