Fascino ed eleganza di altri tempi
Come avessimo affittato una villa antica tutta per noi con personale di servizio gentile e premuroso che ci ha anche preparato una prelibata colazione in terrazza dominante tutto il paese. Splendido

Superb hotel in Gjirokaster.
Was upgraded to the second hotel of the group in the city. Only problem was it was hard to find, because a road was closed. A hotel employee found my car and took me there. Great service!

Schönes Hotel in bester Lage nahe des historischen Zentrums, auch zur Burg ist es nicht weit. Das Haus selbst ist sehr schön und hat einen großen Balkon mit Blick auf die Stadt.

Wonderful stay in Gjirokaster
We had a truly wonderful stay at Hotel Kalemi. Staff were delightful, kind and went above and beyond and we enjoyed the local doughnuts provided at breakfast and the freshly made eggs in the morning. Highly recommended!

Sehr schöne Unterkunft. Parkplätze direkt vor dem Haus, allerdings ist das Hotel ziemlich weit oben im Ort und die Gassen sehr sehr eng zum Durchfahren in Gjirokaster. Nicht unbedingt dem Navi vertrauen, am Besten die Straße zuvor anschauen ob es auch wirklich eine befahrbare Straße ist ☺️

Fine for a night or two
Spent two nights here. It's a beautiful old ottoman house. It's located near the bazaar which is where everything happens in Gjirokastër. Like all over Gjirokastër it's up a very steep hill. Our taxi driver from the bus station couldn't drive up on the first few attempts. The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast is fine. It's served in the garden. Each table receives a tray of tea, coffee, juice, bread, jam, cucumber, tomatoes, cheese and watermelon. There is then an option of eggs cooked to order. Didn't have much interaction with the host. He confirmed the time of the bus to Berat and ordered a taxi to the bus stop.

Beautiful little boutique hotel . All furnishings are set in a traditional manner. Beautifully renovated bathrooms for modern conveniences. The view from the room or balcony is stunning. Staff is friendly and helpful. Walking distance to bazaar, a large variety of bars, cafes, and restaurants and of course the castle. I highly recommend this quaint little place.

Un bon accueil dans une tres belle maison Ottomane
Accueil chaleureux par le patron et le personnel, dans une très belle maison Ottomane préservée dans son style, très propre. Excellent Petit déjeuner fait maison avec des produits frais, nous avons même pu aller en cuisine pour apprendre à faire les beignets du matin.

Wonderful balcony
Sitting enjoying breakfast on the balcony overlooking the town, the valley and the mountains beyond is great - very recommendable. They have their own parking onsite which is good - make sure you check the route up the roads on your map well, the roads are steep and narrow

Stay as Sultan in Kalemi ;-)
Old Ottoman style hotel and wonderful staff. The only weak point is too slow (/poor) wifi signal. Wonderful view and easy parking which is a real challenge in busy Gjirokaster [especially Summer time!]

Beautiful views of the city, a comfortable room, nice breakfast. I only stayed one night and wished it had been longer. Authentic Albanian decor and helpful service. Would definitely recommend.

Great location and exceptional room
The hotel is situated in an old restored Ottoman house, and our room was exceptionally beautiful (in former times it was the bridal room). The breakfast is very pleasant under a pergola, and it's a huge breakfast they prepare and try to accommodate all your wishes. The view from the room is wonderful, to the mountains and to the old and new city parts - as well as the castle. Very much recommended for Gjirokaster visit, as it's also very close to the Bazar and old center of town.

Clean room but no bathtub or mini bar/fridge in the room as my booking stated. No breakfast buffe but breakfast served, we was asked what time we would eat the day before. Staff was friendly.
