“Very charming hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Our room was spacious, quiet and had everything we needed. Breakfast options were good each morning with a choice to eat in the dining area or have delivered to your room. Convenient location for activities, downtown and the airport. Great stay!”

“The staff was great. We arrived late at night at the airport and our hotel pickup was great. Just called the hotel and they came and got us. The hotel is dated but clean and neat. Lobby staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast was initially a disappointment because we were expecting more but the coffee was good and there were lots of energy bars, yogurt, and instant oatmeal packs so… no excuse to be hungry. The location is very close to the the city bus line which was easy to use… only one...

“The Alaskan is the oldest hotel and such one needs to recognize its rustic beauty. Great location and helpful staff. Let’s keep this landmark in place, and in it’s current condition!”

“I know Juneau can be pricey so I booked the most reasonable room at $280 plus tax. It was on the first floor, which truly isn’t the first floor. It’s almost like a half basement a bit below the ground level. My room was underneath the deck of the restaurant and was a little claustrophobic. So fine for one night, but not the most ideal aesthetically. Also, there’s not much they can do about it but the road outside could be a bit noisy. But the staff very nice.”
