“I stayed here overnight for a friend's wedding. The hotel is in a great quiet location with great views. The staff were extremely lovely and helpful. The bed was comfortable and warm and the breakfast was very nice. The rooms are spacious but are a little dated and signs of wear and tear noted. The rooms had great amenities.. but could benefit with having a pen and paper in the room for completeness.”

Given the overnight charge to stay here and everything else we experienced, it is an outstanding venue. The golf course looks very nice too. “The property is 400 yrs old so expect things to be uneven. The current owners have only been there a few years so maybe they still have work to do. The bedrooms are described on the website as "stylish "....I would say plain. The bedding was clean, bathroom ok but it was difficult to get the shower to the right temperature...it was either boiling or cold. Room 5 had a frosted window but it was hot so we had it open.
