Hotel vicino a Glen Burney Trail - Blowing Rock

“This is a cute little chalet. It slept the four of us just fine. Just a couple of issues, baby mothes throughout, back burner is burnt out on stove, light bulb was burned out upstairs, and overall the decor feels dated except for the new sofa. Also, outdoor chairs were dirty and filled with spider webs.”

“This is a very well-maintained older property that is convenient to central Blowing Rock. You could park here and enjoy the town without driving. Although close in, it was quiet. The manager was very attentive and helpful in making suggestions for dining. The room was fairly small, but neat and clean. It's not fancy by Blowing Rock standards, but it had everything I needed. The bed was very comfortable - I slept better than at home. The property was also nicely landscaped, with lovely outside...

“Everything was excellent apart from the garden furniture it was nice to have a private outdoor space but the cushions on the garden furniture were dirty and some were missing this we thought let the property down that otherwise was perfect”

“we had an excellent stay, the room bedding was excellent and cleaning. Also there is one separate sitting area/room which is luxury. The backyard has a patio table with chairs which is neat and peaceful. I liked it very much, it exceeded my expectation.”

“We asked for a wine opener. Staff said that they had one, but was not returned. They provided additional information that it was lost six months prior and never replaced. The staff had a care less attitude. When we asked for recommendations of where to go to eat, we received "crickets" Not my normal experience at all Holiday Inn.”
