Bring the whole family to this newly constructed home on a beautiful ranch in the hills southwest of Glen Rose, Texas!

Within easy driving distance to historic Historic Hico, the Cowboy Capital, Stephenville or Granbury and Lake Granbury, you will have no shortage of places to visit, eat and shop.

Enjoy the quiet views from the back porch, cook out on our gas grille and explore the scenic land around you. Or, if you prefer to stay inside and relax you can take advantage of games, shuffleboard and watch a movie in this brand new construction.

With amenities such as a gourmet kitchen, ADA bath and bedrooms, a charger for your EV and spectacular views you have it all at the Diamond K Lodge!

We ask that you restrict your hiking to a few hundred feet around the lodge as this is part of a small ranch.

Keep in mind you are in the country coexisting with nature. The natural habitat around here is beautiful and serene but is also shared with all kinds of animals including White Tailed Deer, Turkey, Hogs and other cute fuzzy critters.

However, some are not so cute or friendly, it is unlikely but you may cross paths with Western Diamondback Rattlesnakes, Copperheads, Bobcats, scorpions and other creatures that may not be so friendly. Just be aware of where you are and where you are walking.

This property has a Walnut Springs address but is actually closer to Glen Rose.

The barndominium was gorgeous. It was the best stocked kitchen and bathroom I have ever had at a VRBO. They thought of everything ! We had a wonderful time playing games at the property and sitting in the rocking chairs and enjoying the outdoors. Thank you for a wonderful trip.

Beautiful Home!

This home is perfect and stocked so well! We were in town for a funeral and the peacefulness of the porches and wildlife were just what we needed. This home is set up great for couples or families! Plenty of games and puzzles to keep kids entertained! This kitchen is great for cooking, even had a kitchenaid mixer which we needed while there! The bathrooms are beautiful and well thought out! Beds are comfortable and we loved the recliners while watching movies. We will be back because we love the area so much! Thank you so much for a great stay and providing us a comfortable place!

Beautiful Texas getaway!

This is by far the most comfortable property we've stayed at with VRBO. Close to town, beautiful home, and a lot to do in the area. We went hiking along the river and even fed giraffes all within a few minutes drive. We will most certainly be back.

Perfect home for family Christmas gathering!

We highly recommend this clean, comfortable and quiet home! We stayed 1 week (4 adults, 2 young children and 2 dogs) and had a beautiful Christmas gathering with other family members who live in the area. The accommodations were perfect! The kitchen is well appointed with everything you need to cook meals during your entire stay. The large dining/living area was just right for us to enjoy meals together, our Christmas gift exchange and fun family games. To our surprise, the home was decorated for Christmas - complete with a Christmas tree! The Owners had other special touches which made our stay completely relaxing. All communications were professional, timely and very detailed. Check-in was a breeze! Overall, it was a wonderful experience! You cannot go wrong booking this property!

In Town for Fireworks Festival

This home has it all! Wonderfully peaceful space, great amenities, and a beautiful view. The living room was great to gather in and the bedrooms were well appointed with comfortable beds. The kitchen is very well stocked, too. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and our tween also commented that the wifi "was great."
