“One of the nicest places I have ever stayed in. Beautiful building inside and out. Big livingroom, bedroom, bathroom and full kitchen. Really loved our stay. ”
“The beautiful Irish countryside has so much to offer. When this is combined with the love for nature that the host Mary shares with you and staying in one of the shepherds huts all conditions for a perfect stay are there. Guidance to nice walks and places to see are part of the warm welcoming to Blackstairs Shepherds Hut.
We enjoyed the quietness, a walk along the river Barrow and having dinner in the nearby town Borris.”

“Affordable comfort, Our double room was spacious and comfortable, the modern bathroom had a great shower. The room had a TV, and tea and coffee making facilities. Off road free parking was appreciated. Very good thank you. ”

“We stayed with our lovely hosts Jo and Jim at their beautiful B&B. We were made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived. Lovely Jo showed us to our room and it really did exceed expectations. Breakfast was delicious with perfectly cooked scrambled eggs and fresh coffee etc. Jo and Jim went over and beyond to make us feel at home. We will definitely be back. We can’t thank you enough

“Sadly this was only a short overnight stay, arriving mid-evening and departing early, between getting off the ferry at Rosslare and driving west the next day. Even though it was a bank holiday and there was the Fleadh in Wexford, so the hotel was fully occupied, the staff coped very well. Our room was spacious, well decorated, well equipped and comfortable - and given the crowds also mercifully quiet. Our evening meal and breakfast in the hotel (not included in the Expedia rate) were good. ...
“Total gem and worth going a bit off the beaten path. Wonderfully renovated and welcoming spaces. On a cool night there were small fires in the fireplaces in the lobby and in the restaurant. The dinner at the restaurant was the best of our trip, and the included breakfast in the morning was also fabulous. Walkable little town with several historical points of interest, a Friday morning farmers market, and lots of locals at Joyces pub and bakery. We wished we had booked for more than one night. ”
