“Overall pretty good value for money. But it would have been good to make it clear in the comms that the restaurant is closed Mon & Tue and the only other options are 45min drive away!”

“Check-in was confusing, as there was no one at reception on arrival. When I called the provided number, I was instructed to open a locked room that was already occupied by another guest, which was quite concerning. There were also no clear instructions provided for the check-out process. Since my stay, I have been receiving emails stating that payment has not been made. This is incorrect, as I paid in full at the time of booking and have receipts to confirm this.”

“Well located to Mt Fields. It is a Large 2 BR even if we only needed 1. Very dated, poorly maintained, and dirty. Kitchen cabinets and cutlery drawer dirty. We had to wash dishes we were going to use. We decided not to cook so as not to have to wash everything. There was only one wine glass and when my partner washed it, he cut his hand and we had to bandage it. “We loved our short stay at the Rivulet and our room was spacious, well appointed and with a luxurious extra wide bed. We were aware of a shower running in another room but overall we had a very comfortable stay. The grounds and the amenities and on-site parking were also much appreciated.
