“L’hotel è un antico edificio di epoca Tudor. Si trova in pieno centro, a pochi passi dalla cattedrale. Non ha parcheggio che però si trova a pochi passi. È una delle più antiche strutture d’Inghilterra quindi è consigliato a chi ama lo stile d’epoca e meno a chi vuole il contemporaneo, sebbene i bagni siano appena stati rifatti e siano quindi contemporaneissimi. Per chi ama le atmosfere vecchia Inghilterra è perfetto. Il pub interno ha ottime birre”

La foto nella scheda dell'appartamento trae in inganno, perché non è l'appartamento sopra le scale, ma è quello nel seminterrato (nella foto, si vede la porta in basso a sinistra). Le scale e l'ingresso erano piene di ragnatele e sporche. All'interno sia la cucina sia il tavolo bar (l'unico dove poter mangiare) non erano ben puliti e abbiamo dovuto pulirli. Il...

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Gloucester Robinswood Hotel. In particular the staff were all extremely friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The room was clean and spacious with good amenities however the bed was slightly firm, however this did not detract from the overall quality of the room. “excellent location. Parking free from 3pm - 9am right outside the door. Very nicely renovated, good cooking facilities. Very friendly and helpful owner. Only downside for us was the bed is next to the wall so not so easy to get in and out of as a couple when you are old like us.”
