“L’hotel è un antico edificio di epoca Tudor. Si trova in pieno centro, a pochi passi dalla cattedrale. Non ha parcheggio che però si trova a pochi passi. È una delle più antiche strutture d’Inghilterra quindi è consigliato a chi ama lo stile d’epoca e meno a chi vuole il contemporaneo, sebbene i bagni siano appena stati rifatti e siano quindi contemporaneissimi. Le scale e l'ingresso erano piene di ragnatele e sporche.
All'interno sia la cucina sia il tavolo bar (l'unico dove poter mangiare) non erano ben puliti e abbiamo dovuto pulirli.

Hotel and room clean and well maintained. Parking is not free and the machine was not working so had to pay at reception. Reception was very helpful and informative. I got a drink voucher for forgoing a room cleaning on the second day of my stay.
The food in the restaurant was excellent on the first night but on the second night there were a few minor deficiencies - it was not as well presented and a few minor components were missing...

Unfortunately room condition was disappointing: one of the two matresses and the bath were broken, decoration dated and level of cleaning below average.
