“Great room and clean hotel! The staff went above and beyond and I couldn't fault the location and the hotel!”

“Almost everything about this stay was excellent. I would say that some of the interior is in need of maintenance (sagging floors) and one bathroom was tight spacing. The parking was not available but we were able to get parking nearby.”

Communication before arrival excellent. We weren't able to use the spa bath as the plumbing currently needs re-doing to prevent leaks and there is no shelf to put the toiletries in the bathroom. Breakfast isn't available at the restaurant currently but there is Toby Carvery or the cafe at Over Farm next door. Location is...

“Great location in an historical building (the most charming structure I've been 15 days tour of UK). Unfortunately room condition was disappointing: one of the two matresses and the bath were broken, decoration dated and level of cleaning below average. It is a pity such a great place is not delivering in the rooms the potential that is there”

“The room was adequate for our overnight stay. The shower was really good and all the basic usual were there. The welcome from Nadine was excellent as well as the rest of the staff. We really enjoyed the breakfast, thank you Chef. Overall the Linden Tree is a good, basic stopover, especially if staying overnight after watching the Cherry and Whites.”

“It is on the outskirts of Gloucester, so was a great location to access the motorway. We enjoyed a good evening meal and took time to use the pool and spa. Paying for parking was the first thing you have to do, before anything and is a negative impact on check in. We had to call reception st midnight as there were people drinking ans shouting outside but they dealt with it straightaway.”

“Perhaps I made the wrong choice but I did not enjoy my night and left before my (paid for) second night. There was one light in the room, a table lamp that was damaged and could not be altered. There were supposed to be towels in the showers but they were face flannel sized. I am really not sure what the people running the facilities were trying to achieve, but it was uncomfortable and unpleasant. Never again.”
