“Our group had a really lovely time staying on the lake. The view, the ability to take a boat out in the morning, and a dip in the afternoon... a delight! It's a little more rustic indoors, so be prepared to bring things like olive oil, or pepper, if you're planning on cooking. And linens aren't included. But beyond that, the VHS collection was very fun, and the grill and fire pit were also a great way to spend the evening. Thank you to Robb for a wonderful long weekend!”

“This place is only a few minutes walk from places for food. Close to the lake for ice fishing and perfect for three couples to stay!”

“So much love and attention to detail went into this property. We enjoyed our cozy stay in the off the grid cottage, we enjoyed the pavilion where they had games set up , cute spot to enjoy some charcuterie and wine, overlooking the pond , we are already planning our next stay.”

“The location is very nice on a small clean lake. The deck overlooking the lake is the best feature of the cabin. The kitchen counter space is tiny and made meal prep for a group of 5 women difficult. The gas grill should have a cover to protect it from the rain and the automatic starter did not work. We did find a lighter to start it. The bathroom is very far from the bedrooms which are upstairs which was an issue for some of us at night. Also we needed to use the sleeper sofas in the living...

“I had a last minute family emergency and needed a place to stay, quick! This Caroga Lake location was available and it worked out wonderfully. The location was great and the size was perfect. Communication with the host was wonderful. I accidentally locked myself out (whoops 😂) and the issue was resolved within a reasonable time. Would definitely stay here again”

“The stay was peaceful and fun. A rustic cottage with just the right modern amenities. WiFi was good. The outdoor space was well maintained and we enjoyed eating on the patio. Simo created a detailed wonderful guidebook to the area. And there are a lot of loving details that say this is a special place.”

“We had booked very last minute, due to horse show in VT getting cancelled, and we decided to do a show in Saratoga area instead. Being one of the first guests to stay here, and not having any reviews to read, we were apprehensive, but were so pleasantly surprised. The cottage appears to be recently updated, so all appliances, furniture, and decor is in new condition. It was very clean, which is most important to me. I could tell the owners went the extra mile to make sure guests are comfortable....
