Great location and nice place, plenty of room for our group of 11 (8 adults, 3 kids)
This was a big family trip, with 6 of us travelling up from Coffs Harbour and 5 flying over from New Zealand. The house was really big, with plenty of beds which were comfortable and clean.The only downside was a few cleanliness issues eg. parts of the oven had built up muck on them, the soap dishes had build up (that I easily scraped with my fingernail, so it could have easily been cleaned), main shower box leaked (obviously not a new leak as the bamboo unit next to that was mouldy).There was a severe water leak while we were there, which was sorted quickly (the upstairs shower was leaking down the wall). But the issue obviously wasn't new due to the mould on that wall, then we couldn't use that shower for the rest of our trip.The sliding door lock bolt fell off when we were locking up to leave. Just these little things that we really noticed because the photos make it look brand new and spick and span, the photos are obviously quite a few years old.We were also given the wrong code to access the lock box, resulting in some of our group having to wait outside while I was driving on the highway and unable to check my emails to look up the contact phone number.Overall the place was great, the kitchen was amazingly equipped with every little item we needed and we easily fit 11 people in there, plus it was handy to everything in the area eg. Pacific Fair, the kids loved the pool and kayaks. I just feel the photos need to be updated so the expectation is more realistic.
