Cute quirky house in a great location, we normally stay in Surfers but needed somewhere pet friendly for our German Shepherd, back yard is fully fenced and she had a ball running around in the luscious grass. Awesome location, much prefer Labrador over busier areas. 10 minute walk to the restaurants and water. Great communication with the host from start to finish. Thanks!

The property was in a good location for us. Dog friendly but many prickles in backyard my dog picked up on her fur. House was very old but warm heating. Stove did not work, so made it hard for dinner. TV needs new Aerial or to be fixed. Overall enjoyed our stay.

I would have given a 0 if I could. The issue was not with the property but the host (Personalised property returns). We had a booking at this property for 3 nights from 11th-14th June. I messaged 2 days prior to inform we would not arrive until around 8pm to which I got a reply. On the 11th I had still not received check in details so prior to leaving home I sent a message on the stayz app. There was no response by the time we got closer to the property so I called the host, left a voicemail and also sent a text. They responded asking which property it was and to message on the app. I responded with the street of the property and that I had messaged on the stayz app. No response.. I tried a few more times to contact with no luck. By this point we had arrived so I Called 24hr stayz assistance. They tried 4 times to contact the host with no success. They offered us double the amount we paid to find another accommodation. By this stage it was 9:30pm and we had 2 medium sized dogs with us so it was impossible to find anywhere to stay. We turned around and came home. As we drove back down the street we saw the house with cars outside and lights on… obviously double booked. 6hrs driving, a full tank of fuel all wasted. I was angry and after about 2hrs I sent an abusive message. A week later they have not refunded our money, responded to an email or had the decency to contact us to explain or apologise. Disgusting and not a way to run a business. I can’t rate the property

The property is not the way it is advertised.The property has got bed bugs. The property toilet is so smelly and the toilet has mould.Kitchen had dead bugs in the cupboard.I have submitted evidence to fair trading Queensland The property manager is so rude and not even responsive.
