Cottage a Gonzales

“Food and God only knows what else caked on the bed spreads. Cockroaches came home in our luggage!!!!!! We left a day early. Heard a guy come in the lobby and ask new linens for the bed because there was URINE on his!!!! The manager acted as though the man wad making it up!! There weren’t even phones in the rooms to call the front desk or 911 if the cockroaches overtook us!!! Absolutely DISGUSTING place!!!!”

“Hotel was not as I expected. I was hoping to find a family owned, well cared for, small town hotel but instead we found a small town, family owned tired and outdated hotel. The beds were not bad, but the hotel itself needs much updated. The bed skirts were dirty and torn, the base molding on the walls were coming off, the room refrigerator was nasty, the carpet was dirty and the bathroom floor was dirty. “Our rooms were very clean and surprisingly quiet! We were right close to the elevator…Very comfortable king beds! We were very surprised , not knowing anything about Lockhart Texas! Only there over night but it was a great stay!”

“All Hamptons have nice rooms and extras. The Seguin Hampton was exceptional. Pool was very clean and gym was in good working order. Breakfast was good. Room had a nice shower which I prefer. I don't need an accessible room yet but I hate having to step into and out of a tub. The best thing was: At check in I was NOT ASKED for an extra $50 for "incidentals" which the Hampton in Lufkin did and I have yet to get my money back.”
