Cottage in Texas

“The cottage was really cute and clean. Plenty of towels. My daughter kept in touch with the staff for me. It did have a fireplace which was not needed for our stay but fall hit soon after we left. There was not a kitchen but did have a mini fridge and microwave. We spent time at Fort Davis National Historic Site, Balmorhea State Park, actually saw the Marfa lights, and the McDonald Observatory. Definitely recommend!”

“The place is adorable! The hostess was so helpful in making us feel welcome. They provide some drinks that you can Venmo them for which is nice if you don’t want to go out.”

“Really nice clean and cozy place close to the beach, we enjoyed the stay very much!”

“It was a very cute and clean place to stay for a weekend. Host was very hospitable and easy to communicate with. Clear easy instructions for check in and out. All in all a great experience.”

“We absolutely LOVED this cottage. It’s very peaceful and secluded, just how I wanted it to be. The house is small but it came equipped with EVERYTHING including snacks. We really appreciated that. The only thing is, there’s no tv in the bedroom, but it wasn’t that big of a deal. Communication was great by the host when I needed her. They have a cute lil book where people who’ve stayed there, can sign. I forgot to do so before I left. I’d definitely book here again.”

“The home was clean, the beds comfortable. Great size and location. However, there was no wifi. It looked like the main house had internet but there was very low signal. A message to the host went unanswered. The one television had no remote and, since there was no internet, even a remote app was useless. The property had clean, quality towels for guests, but no wash cloths or extra toilet paper. The most disappointing part was the pool. The flagstone surround was broken and chipped and the pool...

“Communication was top-notch, and the location was perfect for exploring all the small towns we wanted to visit. The views from the porch were beautiful and peaceful, making it the perfect place to disconnect, relax, and enjoy nature. We truly loved our stay!”

“Secluded, comfortable, accommodating, excellent price.”

“Very comfortable room. Also very quiet.”

“Booking this tiny house was such a great decision! I had a 3-night stay that was the perfect getaway. It was clean, cute, comfortable, and just what I needed. I will definitely be returning in the future!”

“My wife and I loved the pet friendly nature”

“Great place to stay! Close to downtown Dallas and we brought our dog on our trip and it was nice to know he was safe here.”

“Super quiet, clean and comfy bed.”

“We had a great stay! Wonderful place to relax and decompress. Everyone we dealt with out in town were very courteous, helpful, and kind. Definitely will make this a repeat trip.”

“The location is great! We were close to Main Street and all the shops. This is our second stay with the wonderful hosts Ronald & Connie. The care they put into their property and to make sure guests have everything they need is great customer service! The area is quiet for those who want to get away from the fast pace of work life integration!”

“Great Stay. Close to many things.”

“I was impressed with the place!! Cool, Clean, Secluded and quiet! Probably the coolest place I've stayed in a long long time.”
