Cozy luxury floating accomodation located in the historic Captain Sturt marina on the River Murray at Goolwa.
This floating haven blends modern elegance with maritime charm, providing a one-of-a-kind escape from the everyday.
Perfect for couples seeking a unique and romantic stay, Piccolina (meaning little one in Italian) features all the amenities needed for a relaxing and indulgent holiday experience.
The space
Piccolina features a queen bed with quality French flax linen by Bed Threads.
We have a small ensuite bathroom with shower, toilet & sink. Toiletries by Jurlique are provided, and soft towels by Sheridan. Lovely linen robes & slippers provide you with some extra pampering.
There is a comfy lounge to relax on, smart TV to stream from your device and a dining area. All with views of the river, marina, Hindmarsh Island bridge and historic wooden boats.
There is a fully equipped kitchen with gas stove & oven, small fridge and pantry staples. The Nespresso Creatista Pro coffee machine provides the perfect coffee every time, with touch screen & 9 coffee options.
The front deck features a bench with views up the river to watch the sunrise.
The back deck is protected from the elements with a marine grade BBQ, dining set, outdoor lounge & festoon lighting. Plenty of space to relax!
Privacy is important - therefore Piccolina has tinted windows for daytime seclusion, and blinds & curtains for night time solitude if desired.

She is located in the gated Captain Sturt marina, slip way & boat building facility. There is free parking on site.
The gates are open during business hours, and a code will be provided for outside of these hours. There is also a pedestrian gate.
All within walking distance is the historic Goolwa Wharf precinct, main street with shops, restaurants and other tourist attractions.
Other things to note
Please note Piccolina is not suitable for children or pets due to its proximity to the river.
There are cameras in the public areas of the marina, but not on Piccolina or the jetty she is attached to.
Piccolina has a low ceiling height (6f7in) and beams (6f4in), so if you are taller, you might want to rethink your stay.
There is a step up into the front and back of Piccolina so please be mindful of this during your stay.
Also the jetty is located on the edge of the main river channel, therefore it can get a little rough & windy. There will be movement onboard during these times. Also when large boats pass by.
Please reconsider if you suffer badly from motion sickness, otherwise you get used to any movement pretty quickly.
We have restricted power supply at the marina, so no electric kettle or toaster. We have a gas kettle & grill for toasting.
